"The pizza is always tasty (HIGHLY recommend the spicy red sauce if you like spicy) BUT, there were barely any toppings on half of each pizza. My pepperoni, bacon, onion had a few slivers of onion and a scant sprinkling of the bacon. The other one just had the container of artichoke hearts waved over it, instead of the artichoke PUT on the pizza. There were a whopping 11 "pieces" of cherry tomato, for an entire *large* 3 Top Pizza (Large). The food wasnt even room temperature when it arrived. Lastly, the pelligrino LOOKS like a bottle of normal clear liquid on the order app but my driver said there are ONLY flavored ones, which I did not want. Disappointed in execution by the employees. Ticket 210117 needs a mulligan, or an employee who cares about their work product."

The pizza was delicious, but the pesto cheese bread was not cooked all the way through and ended up soggy.

The cauliflower crust had a nice crunch, with plenty of toppings and a tangy red sauce. The chocolate chip cookie was soft and filled with lots of chocolate chips.

The Large Build Your Own Pizza with Spicy sauce, sausage, and mushrooms was delicious. It also reheated nicely in the air fryer. The Side Salad with Caesar dressing was a good portion for one person. View menu

"A fantastic meal and overall experience. I was seated at the bar, which ended up being very fun. The bartender (young gentleman, can't remember his name) was very skilled and mixing up complex cocktails at a rapid pace and was very entertaining to watch and chat with. He really elevated the entire evening. I started with the Melon and Prosciutto salad which was incredible. Sweet, light, delicate, with some saltiness and savory from the prosciutto and pistachios. Paired with The Escape cocktail, which was tart and flavorful backed by sweetness from the rum and fruit components. Had the New York Steak for my main course. Everything was cooked spectacularly, and everything on the plate was delicious. I will note that it could have used a slight touch less salt, primarily on the meat and broccolini. Thankfully was balanced out by the potatoes and cauliflower. Paired well with a nice red wine. For dessert I had the mascarpone cheesecake. The cheesecake itself was tasty, but almost overshadowed by the phenomenal green apple sorbet. My God it was so delicious, made of blended green apples and you could taste the tartness of the peel and the apple flavor and texture in every bite. Paired with a cinammon apple cocktail no longer on the menu called Sweater Weather. Such an amazing meal and evening, it is absolutely worth a visit. I'll look forward to trying it out some new menu items in the future! "The Spoon Trade in Grover Beach has been added to our destination stops while visiting the Central Coast. We love this area for their wineries and outstanding restaurants. Our dinner at The Spoon Trade reinforced our need to continue to lodge in the Arroyo Grande/Pismo Beach area. The restaurant is small but does offer nice patio seating. Our server, Jonet was absolutely top notch. She was personable and very efficient in expediting service. We also had the honor of visiting with the owner, Brooke. She made us feel welcome and part of the family. The menu is seasonal as they source locally for their menu products. Everything seems to be made from scratch in-house and you can taste it in every bite. We started with grilled sourdough bread that came with butter and a garlic oil. It was the best sourdough bread I have experienced. My wife had the Kitchen Noodle Soup and I ordered the chicken and waffles. The soup was outstanding. It had an egg that was infused with the broth and very tender pork belly with a mountain of noodles. My chicken was crunchy, moist and loaded with flavor. It epitomized the term finger licken chicken . The waffle was both sweet and savory and maintained its crunch. I added some of their homemade hot sauce to the chicken which sent this dish to Flavor Town. We are so impressed with this restaurant we plan to bring our wine group next time we are in town. The Spoon Trade in Grover Beach, CA is a very easy 5 star review. It is definitely a place you need to visit."
