"I went on a Saturday evening with a friend. It wasn 't crowded at all, but as the night progressed some others started coming in. We ordered the disco fries, which can kind of be compared to poutine. The fries had cheese curds, gravy, jalapenos, and some type of bbq sauce. They were good, but the fries could have had more salt and been a bit warmer. We also ordered the chicken and waffles and a burger with mac n cheese. The chicken that came with the waffle was smoked and delicious. I definitely enjoyed the meat. The waffle came with peaches and maple syrup. The syrup was the restaurant 's blend and it had an interesting tangy citrusy taste. It had a thin consistency. My friend ordered a burger she was not too impressed with. She said that the meat was dry. The atmosphere is very cozy, not too fancy and there is a bar area. It 's not super big either inside. The service was fine, very kind and attentive. I 'm not sure if I would return anytime soon."

I really enjoy the music and atmosphere here, and the staff is the best you'll find. The Music Room has been one of my favorite nightlife spots in Atlanta since it opened.

Literally the best nights out have always started here. I love the shows they organize, and the fact they have continued to support the music scene in a safe environment digitally during the pandemic :

This is our favorite place to go to when we make it out of the suburbs for an evening. They always have the best music, the best vibe, and the staff is always great. Hoping for the best for them while they are shut down, and looking forward to making it back once they open! View menu

I do miss the vibe electricity of Edgewood Ave but after losing loved ones from the current pandemic, I'd prefer to wait until it's safe before heading back to the music room its sister club. I'm glad their owners have enough sense to lookout for their customers. We'll see you guys soon for more music and dancing! ‍

The Music Room is an Atlanta institution, from its world famous facade (often lifted without credit) to the community it has fostered in the city. I always stop in for a dance when I visit ATL and bring friends with me to show them one of the city's best underground clubs. I've even have had the honor of DJing there before, opening with a mushroom jazz inspired set for Mark Farina. It's rare to be able to play downtempo to a packed dance floor these days and have everyone down for the ride. It takes a special place to facilitate such a vibe and The Music Room does that.

The history of this place is truly remarkable, filled with legendary moments that I've had the privilege to experience firsthand. It's a world-famous venue that consistently attracts the elite of underground culture. From open mic spoken word events to intense producer beat battles that can launch careers, this venue has hosted and supported local leagues while serving as the backdrop for some of the biggest events in battle rap. Additionally, it showcases musical talent from various genres around the world, all recognizing the significance of connecting with the city's heart for an intimate night with passionate fans. Although the pandemic has been a challenging time for everyone, I appreci... View menu

Best club in Atlanta period with owners who care more for the safety of their customers then trying to fill their pockets while putting people at risk. Before this pandemic began they were booking the best known present and old school DJ’s to their establishment. Many clubs in the city reopened as soon as they got the green light and have paid the price with many cases hitting their patrons and staff. So instead of putting their guests and staff at risk they have continued doing the right thing and have kept the doors closed while live streaming DJ sets from their website. Sure it’s not the same but who in their right mind is foolish enough to go dance and sweat shoulder to shoulder in Atlan...

This is an incredible and intimate dance music venue run by pioneers of the Atlanta dance music scene, who have been promoting and performing both chill and dance music in the city for over 30 years. Due to the pandemic, in-person events have been challenging, so they are currently bringing entertainment directly into our homes through online platforms. It surprises me that during such difficult times, when we should all be supporting one another, some individuals—whom I refer to as 'Keyboard Karens'—would leave negative reviews of this establishment without ever visiting it. This seems to stem from misguided political ideologies and reflects the worst of cancel culture. The people behind th...
