"After our first experience and my (very honest and bad) review here on Open Table the restaurants GM emailed me and apologized for our experience and asked if she could correct it. She invited us back for a second time to retry their restaurant food and service. She very politely thanked me for me honesty and forwardness in my (horrible) review and stated that corrections had already been made. She said that she invited us back as a thank you because it gave her the opportunity to make corrections that would lead to better future experiences for guests and her establishment as a whole. This “second time around” has definitely changed my view and we will continue to go here because of the GM and her awesome response to our first visit! Thanks Bonfire Eagan!!!"

Fish fry is amazing. Service on this night was unusually poor.

The food was rather cold and unseasoned, and the cake was extremely dry and lacking in flavor. However, our server was wonderful. View menu

Food wasn’t very good- when flavoring , they over did it. The basil on flatbread pizza was overdone, and the mini cheesecakes should not have been served, kind of had an old fruit cake taste

My wife needed gluten-free food preparation, and the waitress assured us that all the items we chose were gluten-free. Unfortunately, later in the evening, she got sick. It seems that one of the dishes was not prepared properly for a gluten-free diet.

the decor this place is cool with a kind of western thema. the large wood stove makes fun to see. eating is phenomenal. I ordered the andouille Mac and Cheese and I liked it much more than I thought. this was also the place where I learned to love artichokes, so that there is also something to try! View menu

We went out for a very nice dinner, first time since October! We both ordered prime rib and came to the table cold. There was some grissle running through my piece and my whole corner of my plate was full of fat! I ordered mashed potatoes they were cold and so full of garlic I was unable to eat them. Then what restaurant does not have Thousand Island dressing!! Then we ordered the “big cookie”, it was over baked and bone dry. What a disappointment.

The service at the restaurant was excellent; however, the food left much to be desired. The bull bites were quite tasty, but unfortunately, the main dishes did not meet expectations. I ordered the chop salad, which had an overwhelming amount of chickpeas and noticeably lacked the corn that was mentioned in the description. The chicken was also fatty and tough. As for the French toast, the crust was so hard that it was nearly impossible to cut, and the sausage was dry and lacking flavor. Additionally, the bathrooms were in poor condition—dirty, with a ceiling that appeared to be falling apart, rusty, and generally rundown. Lastly, the music was played too loudly, making it hard to enjoy the m...

"We enjoy coming here often. The food is really good. Service is always spot on. Not many places to get Italian in the area and they are an excellent choice. Lots of options, check menu pictures in the photos. Only slight complaint would be that most Italian restaurants offer a salad with entree's. No big deal though, the portions are large. Edit: June 2024 This place, like many other restaurants, has seemed to go downhill since the pandemic. The last time we were here the service was terrible, our waitress stopped by our table 3 times during the hour, one of the times we had to ask someone to go find her. She didnt ask how our food was, she forgot to bring out the bread basket, we didnt bother to ask. The artichoke dip was not very good at all. They try to pair it with kalamata olives and some sort of citrus maybe? Whatever it is, it does not pair well together and tasted very off. The main dishes (penne al forno, and fettuccini) were just ok. The portions of pasta is certainly smaller than it used to be. Lastly, we were charged 4 dollars for a side of alfredo that was roughly about a half a cups worth and 3 dollars for a side of marinara that was about the same size. What a complete rip off. The restaurant could also use some sound reduction, as even at 20% capacity it was nearly impossible to have a conversation. Overall, the portion size, quality of service, and nickle/dime pricing has totally changed since we used to enjoy coming here. I doubt we will ever come back or visit any of the other locations."
