"When we walked into the restaurant, I initially thought it would be a charming hole-in-the-wall. However, we weren’t greeted for several minutes after arriving. Once seated, we placed our orders, but the complimentary salsa and chips were disappointing—the salsa was too watery, almost like soup, and the chips were stale. We hoped the main dishes would redeem the experience, but sadly, they didn’t. We were served canned beans, the meat was burnt, and the overall flavor of the food was lacking. Our server didn’t check on us even once to see how we were doing. We ran out of water midway through our meal, and there were no extra napkins and no sign of our server. After waiting for 30 minutes, my husband and I had to flag someone down just to get our check. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re looking for poor service and mediocre food."

The server was very friendly and had a relaxed demeanor. The chips were a bit stale. The food was good overall, but the carnitas were somewhat dry. Would I go back? Hmm, probably not.

We've been coming here for nearly 10 years, and we absolutely love this place! The food is fantastic, and Juan does an amazing job with the catering setup. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Located near a business park, this restaurant has the inviting vibe of a local gem. It's quite affordable, and the food is exceptional. Be sure to order a side of their homemade tortillas—they're absolutely delicious. If you're in the vicinity, definitely pay a visit! View menu

The salsa served with the chips was incredibly fresh and truly impressive. The carnitas were outstanding as well. This cozy little neighborhood gem, located just across Bradshaw from Rosemont, is a fantastic find. I'm regretting not visiting sooner and can't wait to come back!

The portions for the main meal were decent. The tamale was slightly on the salty side, but the ratio of corn to meat was fantastic. The chili relleno was outstanding—I highly recommend it! However, I was disappointed with the guacamole dip. It arrived in a small container, and I didn't feel it was worth the $8.00 price tag. The flavor was just average, and it was different from the traditional guacamole I was expecting. Despite this, I would still return to this restaurant, as most of the dishes were traditional, which is exactly what I was looking for.
