"To start, they served us chips and salsa. The salsa had a pico de gallo style with a surprisingly spicy kick—it was fantastic! The chips were also excellent; I'm not sure if they make them in-house, but I really enjoyed them. The service was quick and efficient throughout our meal. For an appetizer, we ordered calamari, which was perfectly crispy and not at all rubbery. It came with two delicious dips that complemented it well. I wanted to try both the carne asada and BBQ Mahi Mahi tacos, so they kindly brought me one of each instead of two of one kind. My wife did the same, opting for the Soy Salmon and BBQ Mahi Mahi. Our daughter chose the lemon shrimp tacos. The soy salmon was exceptional! The BBQ Mahi Mahi tacos were also very tasty, and the carne asada did not disappoint either. You really can’t go wrong with any of these choices. I didn’t try the shrimp tacos myself, but I heard they were fantastic. Overall, we had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the food. We would definitely return!"

Fried oyster tacos for January special should become a standard succulent oysters with a calabash crisp. Delectable! The salmon taco and carne asado were delightful as well! Love that this place is still nailing it after ~20 years of eating here. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The service was quick, although I did have to wait a little for a drink refill. The interior felt a bit dim. The food was good and the portions were reasonable. I wasn't particularly impressed with the shrimp, which I usually enjoy; it seemed a bit soft and lacked flavor. However, the quesadilla was great, and I really appreciated the generous servings of salsa and chips! View menu

Went to this place with friends, and had the fried oyster tacos. The oysters were well-executed... fried lightly and not overly covered in batter. The tortillas were not fantastic... maybe hadn't been heated up (i.e., on a griddle) enough... but they weren't terrible either. And the salsa was good but not perfect. Overall, it was a great lunch, but I am giving them 4/5 stars only because it was not a deeply memorable experience!

Been to the main location several times and ate from their food truck a few times too. Every time I never leave hungry. The food has always been good, always have a good waitress. My only complaint is that they never seem to wanna get people seated quickly even when there are plenty of tables open. All the staff will look at you and walk away and never get someone to come check you or your party in. FYI, whenever they have the pork belly tacos, be damn sure to get them!

"**The Good:** The calzone was fantastic and larger than I expected, providing two meals. The tiramisu was excellent and a fair size for the price. **The Bad:** Unfortunately, the cheese sticks were overcooked and the oil used for frying was old, which was evident from both the color and the flavor. On my second order, I tried the Louisiana burger, along with fries, tiramisu, cannoli, and garlic knots. **The Good:** The burger was cooked perfectly, and the fries were fresh and hot, cooked in clean oil with a nice golden color. Both the burger and tiramisu were great, although I did have one issue with the tiramisu being frozen in the middle. It seems they may freeze it for delivery purposes. When I ordered it the first time, I didn’t notice since I put it in the fridge to enjoy later. If it is indeed frozen for delivery, that suggests it might not be made in-house. The cannoli was a new experience for me; it was different but enjoyable. I wasn’t sure if the outer shell was supposed to be that crunchy, but I was satisfied nonetheless, and the cream filling was delicious and generous. **The Bad:** The fries were bland and unseasoned, and the garlic knots were undercooked (you could see the raw dough when you pulled them apart). Additionally, the mushrooms for the burger were placed outside of the burger, which I only noticed while eating the fries that I had to season for some flavor. **Verdict:** I recommend skipping the sides; the main entrees seem to be the best option here. Always order the tiramisu; you won’t be disappointed. I would definitely return to this restaurant."
