"Anniversary early pm dinner reservations for two. The place is in disrepair from our last visit. The entry door collapsed and flopping at the bottom with the glass panes stained and dirty, creates a very poor first impression. There were no other guest at that time, and we were seated in a two seat table by the windows. My wife asked for a larger table, the brunette hostess, showed mild irritation, uum, okay . Later that hostess appeared to be the senior staff present. Our waitress was excellent, both attentive and pleasant. The menu has some changes, portions seemed larger, tapas were mostly good, inconsistent warmth, waiting maybe. There were at least instances of going down the menus with the waitress, needs to make another choice because items were not in stock. The waitress did not seem flustered with not being able to deliver; that can't be a good sign. The desert menu was also reduced with what seemed premade items Its a significant downgrade in appearance, service, quality of food, and overall experience."

Sitting outside is nice but the owners could spend a little money cleaning up the yard area and reducing the flies. Bathrooms are dirty too.

Service was a little slow and there were no scallops that evening. Also bacon wrapped dates were a little over done as the shrimp. Been there before and it has been better. View menu

The outside property could be cleaned up and areas could be painted, plants in pots...instead of weeds. The patio cover needs cleaning!!!!!!!!!!!!! Overall area needs HELP!

We ate indoors as it was still hot at The food was good beginning with a few tapas and ending with a single desert to share. Service was attentive without being annoying. A pleasant experience.

Great food and service. Great out door patio. Very disappointed that they didn't have any Spanish wines the there wine list. They did have a nice selection. But I was looking forward to a good hearty Spanish Red. I am looking forward to going back. View menu

We were seated right away but then had to sit and wait and wait and wait....then we ordered and they were out of of things we ordered. Then we waited again....and waited....then they came and asked us what we ordered. The food is truly delicious, but bring someone you can talk to for hours.

Restaurant accommodated people but the one server was extremely slow. There was no one else in the dining room two couples outside small plate menu was interesting and the foodwas very good. Small plates came for one or two but even the second for one were enough for several people to have a nice taste we heard it was going out of business. Sorry to lose a tapa restaurant, but there might not have been an audience for unusual food, or people may not have endured the slow service I would go back

"Our family has been ordering home delivery from this 54th Street location for over a year now and we have never had an issue with delivered food. My kids love the street kid burgers and waffle fries. Other household favorites include the burgers, steaks, gyro, and gringo dip. We've eaten at location twice. The location is about what you would expect from current day sports leaning bars. Lots of TVs, especially around the bar, an eclectic mix of memorabilia on the walls, and Americana leaning music, mostly country and classic Rock with the random top 40 from fifteen years ago mixed in.The first time the service was good. There was a slight mix up when our steak came out and I received another customer's well done steak, and he received my medium steak. The server noticed the mix up immediately and took both steaks back immediately. We were a few tables apart under the same server in the same section. Mistakes happen, the steak was re made, and it turned out tasty. Slight inconvenience but overall the food was good, service was excellent, and there was nothing to complain about. The manager came by and apologized all over himself, but we assured him everything was okay, that it was just a mistake, etc. We were not unhappy at all and the manager was very apologetic. Our must recent trip we were seated under a very attentive server. She took our order promptly, made sure we always had drinks more than half full on the table, and was very quick to remedy any minor issues. Unfortunately the quality of the steak on this trip was just not good. I'm not sure if the restaurant has made any alterations to the recipes being used to prep meat in the kitchen, but there was an overwhelming, unpleasant smoke flavor to the steak. I hesitated to send the steak back, but the server insisted another steak be cooked. I do not like to send food back, I apologized for inconveniencing her and the kitchen, but the smoke flavor was so overwhelming the steak was really inedible. When the steak was replaced it was cooked closer to order temperature and the flavor was a little less smokey, but still undesirably strong. It was good enough to eat most of and we took the leftovers home. After warming the remainder to eat at home it was quite rare on the end that was left uneaten in the restaurant. The steak was ordered medium and after reheating at home there were dark red areas in the middle of the steak. The overall texture was also not great, nearly like it was steamed and the sear was non existent. The server was, again, awesome. She apologized, informed the manager, discussed a course of action with the kitchen, and did her best to make it right. But at the end of the day the steak was just disappointing. I had hoped the manager would stop by so I could ask what changed regarding the steak preparation, but at no point did he stop by our table. Gringo dip was still great, my husband enjoyed his gyro, but the steak was a giant disappointment.Overall, despite the great service, the food being sub par at a restaurant (and in this economy) makes me think we should try another local steak and burger joint. : sad to say because we had really grown to like this place."

"For our anniversary dinner, which we had booked weeks in advance, we were seated at a cramped and noisy bar table. The only acknowledgment of our special occasion came from the host. We ordered the market price for a pound of crab, only to find that I received perhaps three ounces of meat from a single claw. Their response to our dissatisfaction was a mere $25 refund. I've never felt so disregarded, even at chain restaurants. My husband and I enjoy discovering new places to celebrate our anniversary, and we'd been eager to try Urban Grill. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we found our reservation table was a small bar top for two, which I dislike, especially on such an occasion. Despite this setback, we tried to make the best of it. The host acknowledged our anniversary, but that was the last notable gesture. Our server Debra was friendly and attentive, and the food was indeed good. My husband enjoyed the lamb and the "little piggy" drink. I ordered the surf and turf, featuring filet and Alaskan king crab. While the filet was excellent and perfectly cooked, the crab was disappointing—just one long claw with maybe 2-3 ounces of meat. The sides were delicious, and we enjoyed the apple fritters and crème brûlée as well. However, when we received the bill, my surf and turf cost $105. The filet itself was listed at around $39, meaning we paid over $60 for a meager amount of king crab. For the same price elsewhere, I've had far larger portions. The market price for crab is listed at $69.99 for a full serving, so it felt like we were charged an excessive markup. In summary, while the food was tasty, the steep prices, uncomfortable seating, and lack of meaningful acknowledgment for our anniversary left us unimpressed. Unfortunately, due to these factors, we won’t be returning."
