"We came up to the barista who was an older lady wearing a mask, we said “hi, how are you” and her reply was “is that supposed to be a question?” Unfortunately, the service did not get better from there as she appeared annoyed with us the entire time and did not answer any of our questions. We had a long wait time where she had to ask us multiple times what our order was, probably because she did not write anything down and could not remember anything. The coffee was okay, but the service will off put us from returning."

Thankfully they have new help in the mornings. The new girl with tattoos and brown hair is so pleasant and helpful even at 6:30 am.

Cafe Nero has one the be best quality coffee options in New England. For a coffee chain of such a value, I would expect customer service in the Seaport cafe to be excellent. Disappointing that it is far from that.

I made a brief visit to this restaurant and, although I didn't buy anything, I really liked the ambiance. I will definitely plan to try it out in the future. It’s a lovely place to grab a coffee. Overall atmosphere: 4/5.

The worst place in Seaport. No customer service. Employees are rude. The mobile order is never ready. You have to wait for 15 minutes inside. I had a baby on my hands, and no one even wanted to ask if we needed any assistance. They were slow and gave the attitude. I had to leave with no food and no money return. View menu

You're primarily paying for the ambiance at this place. Unfortunately, the bacon breakfast sandwich was quite disappointing— it featured thin, low-quality bacon on a plain roll with instant eggs. To add to the frustration, their payment system doesn't permit tipping employees, which I find unacceptable. Overall, I would rate the food 1 out of 5.

Nice atmosphere on a Sunday early afternoon interrupted by three ice cold chicken noodle soups just obtained after a 15 minute wait. We returned immediately and they fixed this with a smile. However, with a single weak microwave (classy eh? our 3 cold bowls took only 8 minutes more. Now, nearly 25 minutes since that freezing spoonful of gruel, I finally sat down with my wife and friends. Poorly spent time all started an optimistic spoonful of freezing soup.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
