"So honesty here! We are new to this area but I find that the Mexican food is not Mexican food I'm not sure if it's because of the culture here but I am not used to it! I ordered carne asada plate my husband ordered a burrito asada so the beans taste like they got a can of rosarita and doctored it up the rice has too much cumin for my liking but still had good flavor and it wasn't crunchy it was perfect the asada was not asada it was more like cuts of steak but the meat did have good flavor it was a little dry tho. My husband said that he doesn't like lettuce in his burrito he found that to be weird but he said it was really good to him he enjoyed his burrito. I as most of you know that read my reviews know that.... okay I'm a cynic! I was impressed by their guacamole they used real avocados the downfall to this time was that I found pieces of the outside of the avocado but I called them and I told them and he gave me a credit for my meal which was amazing and appreciated because I was pretty sad about that. So upside real avocado, grilled onions! Found it odd that they cut up my jalapeno... Like why?"

The waitress was extremely friendly, and the food was delicious. I ordered a combination plate, and everything was fresh and flavored wonderfully. I have no complaints!

Fantastic local Mexican restaurant! They offer a spacious terrace for outdoor dining. Their hours are convenient, and the margaritas are absolutely delicious. Plus, you get complimentary chips and salsa with your meal when you dine in.

We were seated in the bar even after requesting to be seated in the dining area where multiple tables were available…I can only imagine why. The chips tasted like cardboard and the salsa was watery. The rice had no flavor and the steak in the quesadilla was very tough and fatty. All around worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. View menu

uncle julios is really bad and tired of Bel-Air, so it is really the only other Mexican restaurant in general. better than the two, but nothing that bleeds my sock. the drinks were not too bad and the food is content, definitiw a nice atmosphere but. the steak fajita burrito with blue tropical breeze (or something like that)

We used to love casa tequila and I understand that everything has been extremely hard since COVID, but boy are we upset that we spent $20 on two orders of this! The quesadilla is smaller than a clementine! The portion used to be the size of a small pizza. Needless to say we will not be going back : quality is now poor and we feel ripped off big time.

Went there for dinner today with the family. Initially started off good, waitress came within 2 minutes and got our drink order and they came back with them within 4 minutes. Food order was taken promptly as well. However, once the food was delivered then it went downhill. I had ordered a steak fajita burrito and she brought chicken. By the time she came back (20+ minutes) everyone had already finished eating, so I never got to eat. Additionally, she never refilled our sodas at any point nor did she ask how the food was. The food was outstanding! I ordered the shrimp enchiladas with green spicy sauce, while my partner opted for the chicken tostadas. Initially, I hesitated before placing my order, thinking I would get a few large shrimp in my enchiladas. However, I was pleasantly surprised; the enchiladas were filled with smaller shrimp, and they were incredibly well-seasoned and flavorful. The abundance of shrimp in every bite made it absolutely delicious! I will definitely order this again, and I might struggle to choose something different on my next visit. My partner also found his tostadas to be excellent.

No, no, just no : We eat Mexican food ALOT and this isn't an establishment that we would ever go to again. There were several open tables in the restaurant around 630. Our sodas had zero carbonation. An appetizer took about 20 minutes and we waited an hour for our food. I get the whole... hard to get employees being short staffed and totally understand. But when food is taking that long, an apology or ...your food will be out shortly, or ...we're short on cooks or some kind of explanation would've been appreciated. When we finally got our food, we weren't impressed. My tacos were okay, but the steak looked like chopped up dog food. My husband's burrito had a weird taste, like they washed the...

"OVERPRICED AND OVERRATED. Since Gyros West closed, we have been trying different fish fries in the Waukesha area. We ordered our food on-line. Near the end of the ordering process, there was a message regarding a surcharge for on-line orders. This notification should be near the beginning of the process. Also, this begs the question: Why should I pay a surcharge for an on-line order? When I am saving the business on labor cost by entering the order/credit card information myself. Honestly, this wasn 't a huge deal, but did start the interaction off with a bad taste in our mouths. The cod fish fry was tender and quite flavorful. We had no complaints with the quality of the product. However, the portion size was ridiculously small. It was on par with a kids meal. Each cod fish stick was consumed with only two bites. The portion size should be larger and/or the price should be lower. Out of all the many fish fries we have tried in Wauesha this one was by far the lowest on the price/value quotient. The quart of the New England Clam Chowder was very watery, lacked flavor, and had few clams. The broth should be the thick and creamy. Honestly, it appeared the Rochester Deli was running low on product and watered it down. We had to add a fair amount of Penzey 's seasonings for our taste buds. The clams were few and far between (unlike the potatoes), cut into very small pieces; but yet, were very tough and chewy. Honestly, the best part of the chowder was the oyster crackers. For our Friday fish fry needs, we have crossed off Rochester Deli from our list as there are much better options available in Waukesha. UPDATED 4/10/24 I took the time out of my busy day to submit an objective, honest review which included your New England Clam Chowder. You discredited my review by stating it was unkind and inaccurate. When I lived in Las Vegas, I had the opportunity to sample some of the world 's best chowder at the various oyster bars. I can assure you, your New England Clam Chowder on my visit, fell short on the world 's stage. I stand by my objective, honest review. Thank you, Mark"
