"I advise against visiting this restaurant around 2 PM on weekends, just before the cooking staff takes their lunch break. Our Roast Pork and Crunchy Noodles were not crunchy at all, and the Peking Duck we ordered was essentially just de-boned Roast Duck, delivered to us within five minutes of ordering. The remaining five dishes arrived shortly afterward. Most reputable places will inform you that preparing Peking Duck takes at least 20 to 30 minutes. When we mentioned the soggy skin, the waitress went to the kitchen and reported back that "that's just how it always is." We had been coming here about once a month for six months, ordering Peking Duck each time, and it had never been like this before. There was no offer to rectify the situation or adjust our bill, but we did receive two coupons for $10 off a $35 purchase each, which expire in two weeks. We travel over half an hour across the bridge to dine here because the food has always been excellent, and I thought we had found a reliable spot. I had no hesitation in tipping at least 30% prior to this experience. Just a heads up to anyone considering dining here: before you sit down, check when the staff will be taking their lunch break to avoid a disappointing meal."

It's okay. It's not the same as the deli-style place in SF , this place is a restaurant. But service is definitely better than the SF joint

The food here was excellent, especially the shrimp walnuts. The service was very fast. I highly recommend this place for Asian cuisine. Food Rating: 5/5.

Worst service ever, when you call and place an order and in case you make any additional request, they hang up on you. I guess it's very common for Chinese restaurants but the food was also mediocre. The duck was just all grease and fat, skin was soggy. View menu

Price went up and quality went down. Salt and pepper pork chop are mainly salt and pepper fat chunks. Mongolian beef dish mainly onions with little beef. Seafood tofu with very little seafood. Very disappointed in this place. What a waste of money!Food: 2/5

The fried chicken wings are savory but not marinated into the meat, only flavorful at the first bite of the crunchy skin, also meat is a bit undercooked... The wonton soup is also not the normal minced meat seen in the wonton stuffing, tastes like the dim sum pork ribs meat.Food: 3/5

On a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant was quite empty. We waited for half an hour after placing our order, only to be informed by the waitress that they had just one chef and hadn’t even started preparing our food yet. She didn’t apologize at all and simply said, “You can leave if you don’t want to wait.” So we decided to leave. It was absurd. If you need to ask your customers to wait an hour for lunch, perhaps you should consider closing the restaurant. View menu

Food was okay but service terrible. We ordered 7 dishes. We wanted to order the set dinner, but was told at the time we were ready to order that this was not availableThere was a LONG wait until we got last two dishes. We were told they were out of Peking Duck but not until after almost an hour had passed. We saw other tables served Peking duck who ordered after us. Women's bathroom toilet was broken and one of 2 sinks out of order. Food was passable. They didn't give us any dessert or tried to male up for poor service. We had to wait and ask to get check. We spent 2.5 hours there!

Tuesday night and it’s easy to get a large table. Service was great. Most of the food was good. We ordered too many soup noodles. They are pretty big. The salt and pepper items are usually our favorite but the fish wasn’t good. We probably took what’s left in the photo home. It didn’t have much taste. The salt and pepper tofu was great and was gone fast. The chicken wings were good too. Congee and Chinese donut are the main reasons we came here and those were good too. Dessert was red bean but since only one of us had that, they offered a plate of oranges that were really good. Service was good here. They checked on us multiple times. We will come back.Parking in-front is easy not like going...

"Curry Hyuga had long been on my culinary radar, and today, I finally had the chance to experience it. The occasion arose as I needed to pick up my partner at SFO later, and given the mere 10-minute drive from the restaurant to the airport, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to satiate my appetite and make the most of my time, rather than aimlessly circling around the airport. Conveniently, there are numerous public parking lots scattered throughout the town. The restaurant opens its doors at 11:30 am, and I arrived promptly at 11:25 am, only to find a queue already forming outside, as depicted in the photo. The attentive server, Yuki promptly greeted each customer and kept my water glasses filled, setting a positive tone for the dining experience.Opting for their Signature Curry Rice Entree, which features their caramelized onion curry accompanied by shredded cabbage, creamy potato salad, and Fukujin pickles, I decided to elevate my meal by adding Chicken Cutlet Katsu Curry with Chicken Karaage as additional toppings. To my amazement, my order was delivered to my table in a mere 3 minutes, which left me thoroughly impressed. Curry Hyuga's standout feature is their incredibly tender meat, perfectly complemented by their mouthwatering curry—a true masterpiece with Kanazawa-style sweetness and richness that sets it apart. To further customize your dish, they offer a selection of five different spices: Ichimi Togarashi, Jalapeno Pepper, Pequin Pepper, Wiri Wiri Pepper, and Orange Habanero. I had the pleasure of sampling all of them, and personally, I found the Wiri Wiri Pepper and Orange Habanero powder to be standout choices. Their spiciness elevated the curry to a whole new level, complemented by the unique fragrance of the peppers."
