"I recently moved to the area and was in the mood for some Chinese food. Since there aren't many choices between Lowell and Cedar Lake, I decided to try China House. The shrimp egg rolls were quite good! However, I also ordered the combination fried rice and the Singapore rice noodles, and I can't recommend those. The fried rice was unlike anything I've ever had before, especially coming from Chicago—very strange and lacking in flavor. As for the Singapore rice noodles, they were unappetizing. The curry flavor made the entire dish mushy and off-putting. I was really disappointed. Next time, I’ll make the trip north for better Chinese food!"

The beef in the Beef and Broccoli is consistently tender, and the rangoons are delicious. The house special chow mai fun comes in a large portion and is incredibly tasty.

The restaurant is well-organized and comfortable. They serve generous portions at reasonable prices. We really enjoyed the menu, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this place.
