"The only thing missing was a kid doing homework at a table near the kitchen. IYKYK. I miss our old standby, Tung Hoi. We have tried a bunch of family-run spots over the years and kept meaning to get around to Chuns. Tonight was the night after so many years wondering how our holy grail food (pork fried rice) would taste. Online order was fast and simple, in person pickup was easy. Portions are very generous! We ordered Pork Fried Rice, Peach Honey Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, General Tso's, and a large Hot and Sour soup. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was piping hot and smelling delicious. Everything packaged full to the brim and neat in a cardboard carryout box. Verdict: very solid Chinese restaurant and we can't wait to try more dishes from this spot! Wheelchair accessibility: Several parking spots for placard owners in this shopping center."

The food is excellent and freshly made! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that they charge for things you typically wouldn’t expect to pay for, like an extra fork, a to-go container, or sriracha. That’s a bit outrageous! View menu

Awesome food and prices. I always support my local eatery, however in this case if they were 20 miles away, I would still come and buy their food. All of their food is authentic cuisine and they go above and beyond to please their customers. Awesome experience.

My husband and I recently ordered food from here, and I have to say, it was completely bland—absolutely no seasoning at all. This is exactly why I prefer to cook at home 90% of the time and avoid dining out. It seems like the cooks here really lack the skills needed to prepare flavorful dishes. And don't get me started on the rice; it wasn't even fried rice, just plain, tasteless brown rice. Yuck!

Ocassionally come to the Kroger in the same strip and was curious about this place. Got take-out, the family dinner deal for only one person, which seemed nice. Got mongolian beef and fried rice with egg roll, cream cheese rangoon, and egg drop soup. Food was pretty good and it was a generous portion, but the soup needed a little more seasoning. Fast and friendly service. Dining area seemed nice to dine in for the future. View menu

I’ve had two fantastic dinner experiences here for a very reasonable price. On my first visit, I tried the sweet and sour chicken with a small container of steamed rice, and it was excellent. The chicken had at least 30 pieces of crispy goodness—what a great combination! This time, I opted for the orange chicken with steak rice and broccoli, and it was just as impressive. The chicken was fresh and tangy, the steamed rice was perfect, and the orange sauce was wonderfully crafted. This place is seriously underrated. It’s a great option for both lunch and dinner. However, I did take off one star because both times I visited, it was eerily quiet—almost like a library—with a hush so still you cou...

I just walked into a Chinese restaurant located next to Kroger on 249 south of Beltway 8 and ordered take-out. I had shrimp fried rice and chicken with broccoli and to my surprise, both dishes were awesome. The food was fresh, tasty, and a good amount to share with 2 or 3 people. I eat a lot of Chinese food and this ranks very high on my list. I will go back again for sure. Thank you Chun's Cafe for a great meal, it was delicious ? So to be fair, I tried the fried chicken wings a couple days later, and it wasn't good. I would give the wings 1 . So as you can see, not all dishes are a hit. But I did go back and got some more shrimp fried rice and chicken with broccoli and I was not disappoint...

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
