"came here the 2nd time and tried the pizza empandilla along with my way to limbers of peanut butter and passion fruit. also 2 orders from crab yuca alcapurrias. this was on a Saturday and it was not crowded yet busy at all. the place was actually empty and that was the day before? so far the food goes pizza empanadilla that was so delicious. one of the best empanada, because the baked in her mouth tender and light baked not thick and heavy, what I am used to. it was delicious. the filling was not so much. I would probably have to eat about 3 4 of them to be full. the limbers were the same. I should try different aromes next time. the crab alcapurrias were delicious as always. I would come back and order more pizza emanadillas at the next visit! I notice that many people command to call and just drive past and pick up. that wait for food order, to be cooked and everything is quite a past. So they are aware of it."

Great snacks! The attempt at creating a Puerto Rican atmosphere is commendable. The other guests were friendly too. This has become my new go-to snack spot. Food rating: 4/5. View menu

This was my first visit, and it was fantastic! The donuts are amazing and brought back memories from my childhood when I used to get a bag at Target. Definitely coming back! Food: 5/5.

Empanadas/ Empanadillas are top notch. The girls are sweet as hell. Send the menu to my daughters and when they come down from college we're going to tear up some empanadillas and mini donuts.

This place used to be fantastic, but unfortunately, that's no longer the case. We ordered 8 yuca alcapurrias, but instead received masa. When we pointed out the mistake, they refused to acknowledge it. To make matters worse, the food was overcooked and the filling was bitter. The staff was rude and arrogant, and the restaurant itself looked dirty. I’ve been here six or seven times, but I won’t be returning. View menu

The quality of their food has changed so much. I came here years ago many times and it was delish! The past several times Ive gone the food was not as tasty and sloppily done. The mini donuts were barely donuts and my dozen of surrullos had lint hairs all over them. One of the limbers was sour. Drove an hour away for poor quality food. Theres a lot of options throughout Florida now so I dont think Ill be coming here again.

I just found a true gem. I am visiting central Florida as I live in California and wanted to have a snack so i Google PR snack places and this came up. Well, I loved everything about this place. First, the food is fantastic. I had a Jueyes empanadilla (crab empanada), alcapuria (made with yuca and beef) and Mavi (I don 't know what to compare it to but it trastes delicious and limber de mantecado (frozen custard). It all tasted very authentic and I experienced excellent customer service. Now to the ambience ... oh my... the place it 's nestled in a quiet spot that resembles a snack stand that you will come across at in the country side in PR. They have a recording of Coqui and other tropical...

"This establishment should be avoided at all costs. I visited this resteraunt last night for a date night with my boyfriend and was really excited to support a family owned business and the food looked incredible online. However after ordering our food and being brought our salads, half way through eating my salad I found a German roach inside my salad! Now I understand that being sat outside there is an extremely slight possibility that the roach was from the awning above (which is what the owner suggested), however most would notice if a bug fell from the sky onto their food and this roach was not on top of my food. After notifying the waitress, she returned to reluctantly inform us that the owner is certain that the roach did not come from her kitchen as their food is prepared with care and cleanliness . As a fellow business owner this response was appalling. Not once did the owner come and speak with us, nor a manager. However, the owner did relay the message that we could come and visit his kitchen . This was such a display of alarming and disheartening customer service and not a way to treat any customer. As for the manager responding to my boyfriends review and asking what could have been done, here are a couple options that exemplify exceptional customer service: Come out and personally APOLOGIZE at any point and not send messages through your young waitress staff. Show that you care about your customers experience and are eager to make it right instead of denying responsibility and simply offering another salad. Take accountability for your restaurant. Even if the roach by some wild unlikely chance came from outside, it is still your establishment and you created an unpleasant experience so at least offer to credit or discount the meal or offer something on the house .Take your dollars elsewhere folks. You are not a valued customer here."
