"The owner managed a situation very poorly today. I saw someone come in searching for parking. They waited briefly to see if a car was leaving when another car arrived and started honking at them. This second car then parked and hit the first car's windows, yelling at the driver to move. When a parking spot finally opened up, the first car parked and went inside to grab their things. Inside Crush Cakes, they were then harassed by the owner for blocking the parking space and were refused service, despite the fact that they were the one being harassed by another customer. After witnessing how this customer was treated, I will never return."

Love this place. I used to eat here everyday for 3 years when i worked nearby. The chickened out and happy pig are great, but you have to try the red velvet pancakes. The Chocolate Chocolate and strawberry cupcakes are also amazing! View menu

I ordered the lox of love on an everything bagel, along with a lavender latte. Everything was delicious, and the latte was perfectly sweet. I didn’t try the cupcakes, but they looked tempting. I’ll wait until I get home to enjoy them!

The people that work there are very friendly and outgoing place is nice and clean Parking: Little parking but every time I've been there there's been open spots Kid-friendliness: They welcome kids to come in and eat indoors or Outdoors Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp for wheelchairs and walkers

The food lacked seasoning and the pastries were average. If you enjoy frosting that has to be left out before it's edible, then this might be the place for you. Additionally, this is not a Black-owned business at all! Merely having biracial children does not qualify for that distinction and it feels misleading. View menu

The lovely people at Crushcakes really care about their customers! I recently ordered 18 cupcakes for my daughter's birthday, when I picked them up, everyone there made a point to wish me a great day and sent their warm wishes for my daughters bday! On top of that the cupcakes were delicious as always!!! We love Crushcakes!!

Amazing! Of course, their gluten-free cupcakes and baked goods are phenomenal, but their breakfast sandwiches, eggs, bacon, and all that stuff is just as good and worth getting. Staff is really friendly and there to help. We use them for catering. Every time we have a party or celebration, they can make cakes, custom, however you want. The food is delicious as well as healthy and you feel great after. Dietary restrictions: They use Whole Foods and offer gluten-free Kid-friendliness: Kids love it! Get some crayons and paper for the kids to draw on please!

"It is extremely rare that I write a review without actually visiting in person. My sister somehow got my hooked on this small, local sandwich chain. I had seen its various locations (Isla Vista, Santa Barbara 's Mesa and Goleta) and always wanted to check it out; yet leave it to my sister from out of town to introduce me to it. Twice she has ordered take-out sandwiches at lunch time for us. Their sandwich menu is nutso with 36 creations to choose from, including several that are vegetarian. Of course, the options are endless if you choose to build you own! I went with the #14 (a turkey BLT) and #2 (turkey and cheese) which are simply basic yet tasty. I have no idea what they do to their bread but is addicting. Slight crunch on the outside, yet soft to the squeeze and full of gummy flour flavor! All of the ingredients appear fresh and nothing special--which I appreciate when I want a deli sandwich. I love the fact that you can purchase your sandwich in a variety of sizes including a mini for if you need a snack to hold you over and not a full meal. I also think of children, those who are on a lower carb diet, who have had bariatric surgery, or are limiting portion sizes. I personally go for a small sandwich. However, if you want to go all out, choose the medium or family size. Even better, if you 're hosting a party, order a three to ten foot long sandwich (requires a day 's notice). I will be back to check out the actual place--third time 's a charm they say. I 've heard both their chicken salad and tuna salad are both delicious. That 's next up! P/S: According to Yelpers, they do not accept the Check-In Offer for a free soda with a sandwich purchase. They should really remove this from their Yelp page... Note: Only the Milpas location offers chicken sandwiches, burgers, french fries and chicken nuggets. Note squared: They charge more for credit card payments. Note cubed: If you want free entertainment, check out their Milpas website menus with adorable, phonetically spelled items. (gient vs giant, meetball vs meatball, and phylly vs philly)."
