"Curry up now is generally a decent chain in the Bay Area, but the food at the Oakland location is quite poor. Dishes tasted far worse than the ones in other locations (some parts undercooked, food served cold, etc) As for atmosphere and service, place was empty when we arrived. So good! Chicken tikka masala burrito and paneer tikka masala burrito were great. If you choose to get it spicy it IS spicy. Samosas were delicious and crispy

Went with several friends. We had a great time. Portions are huge so we over ordered, but it was really good and well spiced. One of my friends is apparently not spice tolerant and she had an upset stomach afterwards, but that was self inflicted. She did not tell us until we were 3/4 through the meal.
