"Horrible experience. Came here with my family to have brunch for Mother’s Day and left annoyed and hungry. Tried to order coffee and was told coffee was going to take a long time because there were a lot of coffee orders in the front. I’m sorry, what? You’re a cafe. You should be able to pour a simple cup of coffee. Needless to say, it never came. **** Mary’s were watered down like they had been sitting on the bar for a while. Our food all arrived at different times, had to ask multiple times for things like silverware, omelettes were so small and all undercooked/wet in the middle. $17 for a half-cooked omelette. Waitress kept bringing dishes out and she didn’t know what they were or what table they were for. As someone who’s worked in the restaurant industry, this is absurd. We sat for an hour and a half before the last of our entrees came out. This place might be great to pop in for a coffee to go, but honestly I wouldn’t bother, there are so many other places. Do yourself a favor, stay away."

Finally tried Da Capo for dinner after many brunch dates. Enjoyed the appetizers, pastas and cocktails!

One very busy waitress covering the brunch rush. Handled it well, food and drinks were timely and tasty.

the service really lacks. Drinks were not garnished and there was no real taste. for the price is not worth it. View menu

The service was abysmal on the day I dined here. I know restaurants are short-staffed. And that includes the kitchen. But……there has to be some sort of consistency offered I’ll be back. I love the food. Just the service is always kinda spotty

hidden gem! we try to taste different places in the neighbourhood and glad we found them. fun vibe. Although it seemed to be a bar scene, there is a beautiful backside with tables. our table ordered burger, flat pasta. all were very delicious. the service was very attentive. we're coming back.

Decor, if you can call it that, is abysmal. Only one main dish was judged good. Appetizers and main dishes all came together, resulting in one dish being sent back to be warmed up. Waitress was overworked and didn't understand English. We were actually three people; two had dessert also and one really liked the tiramisu. View menu

A great place for a date or a cozy night with friends. A fun and funky bar up front hides a small but well appointed back room. The cocktails are yummy and inventive and the menu (while small) was uniformly delicious and beautifully presented. Service was solid. A real neighborhood gem. Can’t believe I hadn’t found it before.

Nice back room good for small private parties, but when the restaurant 's empty, the service attention is sparse. Food was good albeit a bit expensive and fewer choices than I would have liked. Prepared nicely and tasty though. My biggest complaint is that the explanations, both on the menu and by the server, were not clear. The Beet Salad which in dozens of other restaurants come with a modicum of greens, was only beets and not a salad per se. A bit misleading. Also a dish we ordered we were told came with a dairy sauce when it was not stated that way on the menu. If you have any allergies or sensitivities or aversions to certain foods, make sure to be specific when telling them and have th...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
