"My sister I had dinner here this evening. What an absolutely wonderful meal the greatest server I have had in YEARS Alex was outstanding! Great knowledge of the menu, made excellent suggestions, attentive, friendly, personable, funny, efficient. Can you tell how impressed we were with Alex ??????. What a wonderful young man! We had so much fun with him thoroughly enjoyed his fun personality We went to the The Elegant Farmer for pie stopped here on the way home for dinner. Alex suggested we share the 1/2 order of the pulled pork nachos, since we wanted to try many other menu items save room for dessert. It was a great idea as they were a big portion. Delicious, lots of delicious, flavorful pulled pork toppings. Great pico! Next...my sister had the brisket sandwich I had the Swiss cheeseburger. Delicious handmade burger ??. So juicy perfectly cooked as per my temperature request. We shared the tater tots, Mac n' Cheese, cornbread coleslaw. My sister LOVED her tender brisket sandwich all the sides were delicious. Fresh, crunchy slaw, the homemade Mac n' Cheese was excellent. Very cheesey with a slightly spicy flavor. We could have eaten a trough of that!! The cornbread was so moist! It would be awesome with chili, too! Great, crispy tater tots! We took 1/2 our sandwiches home so we could share a slice of the homemade cinnamon roll bread pudding which we devoured! The perfect blend of cinnamon sweet. I can't say enough good things about this place! If we didn't live in Chicago, we'd be here every week! We can't wait to go back. We will definitely make the drive again soon try some other menu items. I just hope we run into Alex again the manager Jordan. Also wonderful, friendly welcoming! I had dinner at this restaurant and found it to be quite enjoyable. The price per person ranged from $10 to $20, making it very affordable. I highly recommend trying the Smoked Chicken, as it was particularly delicious. Overall, a solid dining experience!

This is our 3rd time here and we come for the food, however the service is less to be desired. The bartenders are not very attentive and are oblivious to new customers that sit at the bar. Tonight Oct 6th we sat and they came over to customers who are here and served them and didn 't even glance over to see we had nothing in front of us. When she finally came over after serving a couple that walked in after us, there were left over drinks in front of us and are these yours ? If they were they are empty so wouldn 't she or one of the ladies ask if we wanted refills. All 3 times absolutely horrible service. Not sure if we would come back.
