"TIP: If you GPS here, it will navigate you to the side door but the sign on the side door will prompt you to enter through the front entrance. If you're facing the side door, turn left and walk around the block and you'll find the front entrance on your right. I had the Cha Shu Ramen and the Roast Duck Bao Bun. The ramen broth didn't have much body or flavor and the pork was dry (even soaked in the broth). The portion was relatively small too compared to many ramen establishments I frequent in NJ. The bao bun was good, no complaints! The bun was fluffy and the filling was generous. I do wish the cilantro was chopped to make each bite a little more even with filling, but that's just me nitpicking. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive though, so I appreciated that. Overall, this place is okay. Not bad, but nothing memorable."

Service was okay. There was only one person servicing the tables. The eggs were not very good. I would have enjoyed an entire corn instead of a slab. Pork belly bun was okay. Very pricey for the quality of food. Tea was good!Food: 3/5

While I enjoy the place and food for what it is, my only complaint is passing down your merchant service fees to your customers. The sign will go unnoticed, until actually told about it, or when you see the non-cash service fee on your bill. Do better.

The restaurant has a charming and romantic atmosphere. The chefs use top-quality ingredients, ensuring that even when I order takeout, the food remains impeccable. Every dish is packed with flavor, and they truly know how to prepare the ingredients so that they stand out beautifully.

Everything we had here was good, and love that it's byo. Taking half a star away because the server couldn't name the sushi that came with the omakase we ordered. And since I can't give 4.5 stars, I guess I'd take another half a star off for ambiance could be a little less bland, I guess. View menu

I tried the Omakase at Dawa and let me tell you it was an incredible dining experience! Every bite had something new to offer. After speaking with the Owner/Chef Joe I found out that he gets his fish shipped in from Japan. The Uni (sea urchin), Otoro, and live scallop were definitely my favorite. Five stars! Thank you Chef Joe!

The food here was great and service was quick! I called ahead of time and was told I didn't need a reservation for a Saturday dinner. Tables inside are limited but it seems that they are pretty busy with pick up orders. The fish here is fresh and the menu isn't too overwhelming! I definitely recommend the yellowtail roll and crispy rice.

What a great surprise! We walked in on a Sat night without reservations and were seated immediately. It did have a bit of a strange smell, but that subsided once we got used to the smell. They bring a cup of hot tea and water while you wait for the food. We tried the duck baos and char siu ramen. Both were great, would get again. They also have a sushi menu, and it looked fresh when I glanced at other tables. Service was wonderful and it was a quick meal. View menu

Honestly, the ramen tasted like chicken oodles and noodles. It was basic. I've had waayyy better ramen. I also had a sushi roll and that was great and flavorful! I also order the duck bao buns and they were really sweet. Not wat I was expecting at all. I really didn't like it so I ask the server to return it. She argued with me for about 3 minutes. I assured her that I wasn't trying to be rude but that I just did not care for the bao buns. Finally, she sucked her teeth and snatched the plate out of my hand and left furiously. So yeah, the service sucks. Honestly folks, don't waste your time here. You'll find better ramen and greater service elsewhere. Trust me on this one.

Although the building entrance is kinda weird, the lady is extremely nice and took care of our table super well, she also recommend the best thing on the menu. The crispy rice has a crunchy and soft texture from outside to inside, they fried it. Topped with bluefin tuna and Serrano peppers OMG Korean style sushi technology. 10/10Spider roll is also crazy good, idk how they make sushi so good with the sauce they have 9.5/10Fried octopus is quite normal imo, they did pull out kewpie mayo as part of the sauce, 6/10Ramen taste like Korean style noodles with Taiwanese style soup, it feels like eating the Taiwanese Japanese ramen back in Taiwan with Korean instant ramen noodles, no wonder Kenny lik...

"Fantastic neighborhood gem. Food was flavorful, cozy, inviting, and fun. Not fussy or arrogant, but cooked with love, execution, and straight from the heart. My favorite was the Burrata dish, a cold cheese dish with the seductively sumptuous balsamic glaze and the best thinsliced prosciutto I ever had thankfully not too salty as it was packed with flavor. The bread was fantastic for mopping up the rich tomato based seafood app.My wife and I loved the seafood spaghetti dish, although the dark brown think buckwheat spaghetti surprised us at first. The rich white wine broth and clams were fantastic, but the noodles were perplexing and intriguing and fantastic!. The whole wheat made it seem like it might be tough but it was smooth and chewy, while still hearty. And yet it almost felt too soft and about melt, although there was a firm elasticity to it! The scallops risotto was rich and decadent. Temp was good. The service was good, the outdoor ambience was wonderful, the napkin's bluegray hue resonated with my wife, and the plates were gorgeous.Overall, it was excellent and worthy of going back and recommending to friends and family. The meal may not have been technically flawless the delicious octopus could stand to be grilled or cooked a tad longer, but it was still perfectly authentic, heartfelt, and admirably executed. It straddled the fine line between elevatedelegant and homey. It accomplished what it set out to do and delivered on what one would expect! We live outside the city, so we won't be able to visit often, which may be good, because this is such a fine neighborhood establishment—if I lived nearby, I'd definitely be in danger of blowing my monthly dining budget"
