"We ate at D’Corato Ristorante on Saturday, May 11, 2024 for a pre-Mother’s Day dinner, and the entire experience was amazing.The family-oriented restaurant was very cute and quaint, you felt like you were eating dinner in Italy. Even the chef came out to talk to us and made sure everything was perfect.This was our first time coming here, and we would now consider it to be our go-to Italian restaurant in Sarasota.We ordered Caesar salad, mussels, veal parmigiana and piccata, lasagna, and the pistachio tiramisu, and it was all a perfect 10.This restaurant is run the old-fashioned way like I remember growing up. Even the owner and his wife would clean each fork, spoon and knife to make sure you had perfectly shined silverware. The server also stopped by several times to make sure we were enjoying our dinner.We highly recommend D’Corato Ristorante if you want an amazing, authentic Italian meal in downtown Sarasota."

This is a smaller, very cozy restaurant with a private and relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the portions were quite generous. If you appreciate authentic Italian cuisine, you won't be disappointed. The service was also good.

I had an outstanding experience with both the food and service. We had our small wedding catered, and they arrived right on time. The quality of the food was exceptional, and all our family and friends enjoyed it immensely. The portions were generous, and we had leftovers for five days! The meals tasted like authentic homemade Italian food. I highly recommend them!
