"We stopped here on Sunday night during dinner time, after being turned away from a few other restaurants in Deadwood due to low staffing and our group size of 10. The hostess warned us they might not have the workers to cover us, but the waitress said she could take us! It meant so much to my family to be seated and to be welcomed by the waitress and hostess. They showed how willing they were to serve us, which was a feeling since we were getting frustrated after searching for a place to eat for an hour. The food was good! Loved the handmade, crumbly burgers, but wish that both the burgers and fries were more seasoned. We had a good time here: Great place to grab a bite in Deadwood!"

"This is my first time I have had the pleasure to enjoy the burgers. I heard a lot about it beforehand, and it was well worth it. The burgers are more than enough for one person. I ordered the Southwest Dakota Burger. Stacked high with bacon, onions, jalapeños, pickles, Swiss cheese, and chili garlic sauce. The service is amazing. I walked in at dinner time and was seated at their full service bar and ordered in less than 10 minutes. The service is absolutely top-notch. Stop in and see the Lewies crew and the waitess Ember!"

"What a fantastic discovery! We stopped here for lunch on our way back to Keystone from Deadwood and were absolutely thrilled with our experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, featuring unique decor and a concise yet impressive menu. The woman working there was incredibly kind and honest, making it clear she was the sole staff member handling everything from cooking to serving. She did an amazing job! I enjoyed a homemade chicken salad, while my husband, a devoted Grain Belt fan, was delighted to find it on the menu. I also appreciated the gluten-free options, including Seltzers and more."

"Without a doubt, this is the best steak in Deadwood. We make it a point to dine at this restaurant every time we visit. The steaks are expertly aged and cooked to perfection every single time. The side dishes are fantastic as well. Even the salads that come with the meal are substantial enough to be considered a meal on their own, and they're thoughtfully prepared. The staff is incredibly friendly, particularly the hostess we encountered during our last visit. They even offer alternative dining options at other places if you arrive too late to secure a table. A word of advice: if you don’t arrive around 4 PM, be prepared to wait for a table, as they don’t take reservations. While the entrees may be on the pricier side, they're worth every cent. I have never left here feeling dissatisfied. I would have snapped a better photo, but the meal was too tempting to resist as soon as it was served."

"Dog friendly, clean, affordable and great hospitality. This place is neat, both in the eclectic and cleanliness sense. They have guitars and pictures of famous musician visitors all over the wall. The style is iron-and-wood industrial with a tall black ceiling and many lights for a nice and balanced atmospheric lumination. They accommodated our party of over 20 with short notice and not long after we sat down, the owner, Scott came and brought a dish of water for the dogs. The food is reasonably affordable (most dishes under $20) and the quality was solid. The only thing I was slightly disappointed by was the small amount of chips and salsa for $10 with no refills, but all in all our party was happy with the experience. There is a cool lil gift shop and bar attached. Definitely recommend this place."
