Really good! I got the purist chicken sandwich which is a fried chicken sandwich with bread and butter pickles and a side of Mac and cheese. It was very delicious. I went with a group of people and everyone enjoyed their food. Nice seating too. It 's in a pretty up and coming area, there 's a lot of of growth going on. Counter order, but service generally decent. I messed up my online order with missing articles, but I don't think so. I didn't really blow anything away. Although this is an example of expectations that create a situation where I hold the bar higher, I find this place good or quite good.

If you're in Durham and craving some great chicken, this is the place to go. The food is packed with flavor and incredibly filling. I'm not too familiar with the area, but it feels like a hidden gem, tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The restaurant offers plenty of seating indoors and a few outdoor tables as well. One of the highlights is their sauce bar, which has a wide variety of options to choose from! My only complaint came from my boyfriend, who found his Cali Style Sandwich a bit soggy. I like the idea of a place where you can get really good fried chicken and some other fried Southern foods fast without sacrificing quality. The fried chicken is delicious and I love it on salad which read terrific on the Our House salad and the spicy ranch dressing was great on this combo. The sides could be better with my sweet potato fries with spicy chili was good, but not spectacular and ther mac and cheese was apparently meh. Good set tea though.
