"This was my second visit to the restaurant. The first time, I had the pizza, which was fantastic. This time, I decided to try the lasagna after enjoying some that a family member brought home as leftovers—it was delicious! However, I noticed that the lunch portion seemed different from the dinner portion. My lasagna had less cheese and a smaller serving size. The bread they served was nice and fresh; I’m not sure if they baked it in-house. I would definitely return to sample more dishes; the spaghetti and meatballs looked amazing! I left a 40% tip because I appreciated the experience."

I have been eating here for years and for some reason the pizza was not up to par this time. Listen, I still recommend this place and I understand everyone has a bad day. View menu

Their pizza is amazing, their wine pours very healthy and the waitstaff is very friendly. Bring cash because they don't take plastic but the overall bill will be lower than most comparable places.

If you want a great pizza this is where to go. Then add the local part lol. It's just a great pie. It has a nice crunch. Enough sauce and toppings.. If you live in a 25 mile radius this is a must. If you're going to St Joes or South Haven being a tourist and wanna switch gears. Go here. Hometown family feel. Relaxed dining. Booths and tables. A nice bar. A few tvs on local stations. Expect a lil wait on a weekend evening, get a lil appetizer. Friday night was an hour for 2 large pies. Got an app. A few beers and PIZZA. Staff was nice. Prompt. Easygoing

"When you first walk in, there is no one to greet you...no music playing, not a single customer in sight. When someone does greet you, it seems as though you 're bothering them. While I was trying to place my order, I was interrupted by some woman, leaving the place, yelling ¡Ayuda me¡ to who I assume was her kid, that was trying to take my order. After ordering, we sat at the tables and waited...The waiter brought us some chips and salsa, which all three of our party (2 young adults and Adult) notes that the salsa tasted off. We refused to eat any more of it. Chef Mic was on call today, as we heard the microwave ding three times and the food was out at the table within 5 minutes of ordering. My kids ordered steak tacos. The steak on the tacos was dry and lukewarm, lacking any seasoning. I had the wet burrito...it was cold cold. The sauce on top was watery and cold, the steak was cold, the cheese inside wasn 't even melted and the tortilla was tough and stale. The beans were the standard prepared beans out of a can. The kicker was the rice, the rice was dry and wet at the same time, and as you can see in the picture, very broken and looked like it had been cycled for a few days in the warming tray. I barely ate 4 bites of the burrito. Probably the worst Mexican food we 've ever had. Zero chance of returning as it wasn 't just a one item issue, it was a terrible experience in the whole."

"We had reservations for a Friday night a couple weeks ago. First time visit. We drove 45 mins in heavy rain and were so glad to arrive.(Backstory: when we made the reservation we asked about the music and no limitations were given to us so we figured we were good. We wanted to see our friends who knew the band and eat dinner/have drinks/relax.)The host stand is in the entry area next to the bar. There are a few tables out in this bleak, chilly entryway, which is all you can see. The host asks if we have a reservation and seats us literally right next to the host stand. What we don’t know/weren’t told is that there are 2 other rooms, the last of which is where the music will be starting in 45 mins. Oh well. We sit and assume we will be trampled by the dinner rush on their way to better seating areas.Someone nice comes over and offers us a different table because I had said we were there to see the band. We are glad to move. Now we are directly in front of the stage in the back room and the party is already so loud we can’t hear. (We will later realize the acoustics of this room -designed with that stage/setup in mind- are awful and echoey and we are all going to be deaf by the end of the night.)Anyway Brandon comes to take our order. We get drinks. For how busy they got since we arrived our food was fairly timely, I thought. The very impressive-looking menu we had researched is based on about a cup of garlic per plate. It stuck with us for days. Boyfriend’s short ribs were so dry. The risotto was sad and pasty. That ceasar salad is pretty great tho.As we needed refills and had been passed by at least 3 times, we had to go ask Brandon (who was standing by the drink station watching the show). These poor servers have no hustle, don’t know their menus and do not multitask. Meanwhile the big table is howling louder than the band and we need to leave before we have an aneurysm. What a mess. Then apparently the toilets all started to overflow and we escaped. It’s such a cool building and they have good ideas, but falls so far from the mark. You can’t sustain your new customer base with high prices and soggy zucchini. We will come back someday, maybe, if we can sit outside and we don’t have to worry about getting out of there in one piece doused in garlic."
