"We ate through the food truck and sat outside on the picnic tables. I would say that for the price and popularity, I was pretty disappointed. I had the pulled chicken tacos and the table ordered waffle fries and chips guacamole. It was $16 for the chips and guac, and I thought that was pretty outrageous for what we were given. Just regular guac (nothing special) and chips that felt like they came from a bag. The waffle fries were yummy but not outstanding. The pulled chicken tacos were pretty bland (I only got two of them for $14), and again, pricey for what I got. There was a live band playing over some popular songs, so if you’re looking for some lively entertainment, Sunday nights here could be your place. The music was pretty loud though, it felt like we were yelling over it most of the time. I probably wouldn’t return here or recommend it. Nothing bad, just nothing special either."

Trashy. Tiny Portions. Eat at oaklands or sundays on the bay if you want good food. Dockers if you want single 80 year old men eating nightly specials to hit on you.

The appetizers were fantastic! The dinner was just okay, and the service didn't meet expectations considering the price we paid. We requested the waitress to hold off on bringing our main courses for a bit, and...

TRASHY ESTABLISHMENT. Used to be better. They serve drinks in plastic cups that take 30 minutes to come. My appetizer arrived AFTER my main course. I did tell the waitress can send the food out as its ready, but to serve a table a main course before an appetizer?

The restaurant has a lovely waterfront setting, but the prices are shockingly high, and the food is just mediocre. The menu is quite limited as well. For lunch, our bill for three people came close to $300. I've dined at better waterfront restaurants on Long Island for much less. I won't be returning. View menu

Food was great! Fish extremely fresh I cannot deny that. But .... when I asked for a side of tartar sauce, my waitress rolled her eyes and said it does not come with the meal. i said i wouldn't mind paying the price of a side sauce, I spent over 400 on my meal. She rudely whispered oh I am sure you wouldn't mind paying, then walked over to another waitress and began pointing laughing at my party. The side of sauce never came and we were charged for 4 martinis when we only ordered and drank 3.

I had a reservation for 4 people on a TUESDAY night at dockers waterside. I cancelled my reservation 93 minutes in advance, after receiving an email from resy saying they encourage cancellations, but do not charge if you do not cancel. I DID cancel my reservation and was still charged a cancellation fee. I should not have even booked a reservation here after a drunk bartender mistakenly gave me a cocktail instead of a mocktail last summer after I stated I was sober. Stay away from this establishment at all costs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND OAKLANDS AND SUNDAYS ON THE BAY!! BOTH HAVE AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE and better food! Id never go back to dockers, not even for a free meal. STAY AWAY

"We have been to this restaurant several times when visiting my in-laws. I specifically wanted to come here to celebrate my upcoming birthday. I had reviewed the website many times before coming to the restaurant. The day we were scheduled to come in my mother-in-law had heard they don't allow kids. I checked the site and could not find any information but I didn't want to risk it since we had a special evening planned on our last night before heading home to Chicago. I called the restaurant to ask, just to be sure, and the woman who answered said yes, of course, we allow kids. Many of our staff and the owners have kids. We even had a bento box for kids. I thought great, many times the kid's menu is not posted so I didn't think much of it. We went to the restaurant and had a great meal. The waitress suggested the pasta with butter for my 4 1/2-year-old daughter. Every course was fantastic and our bill was well over $500 for five people. Then we looked at the check closer and noticed that we were charged $28.00 for PASTA with butter. My husband asked the waitress to confirm that it was not a mistake. Super disappointed as we loved this restaurant and loved the food but we left with a terrible taste in our mouths. I worked in the restaurant business for many years and I understand pricing but this just seemed VERY deceptive. 1) If you are going to charge $28 for a kid's pasta then have the decency to put it on the menu in writing so we understand how much you are charging and can make a choice to either order the item or order something else (that is worth $28). 2) you are making a statement you don't want kids in your restaurant so that statement about it being kid-friendly was total BS."
