"Wasn't sure where to go for diner and made my decision by the number of cars in the parking lot. Made the right decision. Service was nice and friendly. Food was delicious. Kids had Spaghetti and some Tenders with corn and mashed potatoes. I had the grilled chicken salad. I'm not a salad fan but this was great! My girlfriend had a vegetarian meal and she liked it too. The prices are very fair. I wouldn't say cheap because the food is of good quality. Thanks to the kitchen and the nice service. Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp on the front. I’d give this Dutch Pantry Family Restaurant 6 stars if I could! Tremendous value/price/taste/quality and quick too!!! Server was also great. Meatloaf had a thick and very dark delicious sauce, and my Turkey was perfectly cooked and flavored. There also is an Amish shop with lots of very cool products. Just go!!! "Haru Ramen House in Layton, Utah, is a mixed bag in terms of dining experience. Starting with the positives, the appetizers were undoubtedly the highlight of the meal. They were flavorful, well-prepared, and arrived quickly. The gyoza, for instance, had a delightful crispness on the outside with a savory filling, and the takoyaki was a pleasant surprise with its rich flavors and texture. However, the main attraction—the ramen—was a bit of a letdown. While it wasn’t outright bad, it failed to stand out. The broth lacked the depth and richness one would expect from authentic ramen, and the noodles were just average. The toppings were sufficient but didn’t elevate the dish, leaving the overall experience underwhelming. The biggest disappointment, though, was the service. The staff seemed inattentive, and it took a long time to get refills or assistance. The lack of hospitality and care took away from what could have been a more enjoyable meal. It felt as though the staff were either overworked or simply uninterested, which was unfortunate given the potential of the restaurant. Overall, Haru Ramen House has its moments with the appetizers, but the average ramen and poor service make it hard to recommend wholeheartedly. With some improvements in customer service and a bit more attention to the quality of the ramen, this spot could become a much better dining destination.
