"The Eastside used to be my favorite. When I ate their food, it was a rewarding experience to me, and I've recommended this place to many of my friends.Things start to change a couple of years ago. Chicken starts to be too oily, although it's still delicious, the flavor's still right, as long as you do not eat there everyday, it's still the place to goBut the chicken I ordered recently is totally disappointing. The coating is brownish, and hard to chew. It used to be perfect golden. The meat is a little bit dry. I think anyone who cook often enough can do a better job."

Some of the best roasted food I've ever had. Chewed catfish, wings, chicken and okra are all incredible (slowly my way through the rest of the menu work). Staff are always friendly and helpful. Definitely a repetition for the takeover! Everything was great. I highly recommended this place.

I always make sure I order here long before I get hungry because they have long wait times and pretty poor customer service, but honestly, I don't really care. Their food is so so so good. The catfish nuggets are so good, the crab cakes are amazing, thewings are amazing. They always have a ton of awesome desserts too. View menu

I'll give it a two on the food just because I've had good food here a long time ago. They are slow AF. Told me 20 mins took an hour and fifteen. Third and last time I order from here since they don't know what a clock is. I would have been find with them saying two hours. But at least start the food before it's supposed to be done.

Not only is the food consistently delicious (the gizzards are to die for), but the people there are really the best. Always friendly, efficient and professional. Today, I stopped in to pick up my order that I placed online, and it was ready five minutes early and served with a smile from the gentleman behind the counter.Thank you for making Eastside my go-to meal stop!Sorry there are no pictures.
