"It really pains me to say this, since this has been an old Batavia haunt my family has gone to for many years.Food quality is still pretty good, and drinks were too. However, since reopening, the wait staff has become extremely disorganized. The dining experience took almost an hour and a half with many mistakes and a lot of unnecessary back and forth. The check was also wrong, and there was no offer to comp anything despite the length of time and many mistakes, including one of my friends not even getting her food! The place also seems pricier than I remember. Not only that, an umbrella flew away and a customer had to go retrieve it!!!El Taco, get your act together. I know you are much better than this."

Since then we have been in new possession twice, once for the takeover and then inaugurated. Delicious food! Margaritas are better than before. Great service!!!

Good food as always. Looking forward to them getting their liquor license under their new owner. Missing a website which makes the business look a little less legit, but their food is indeed the real deal.

Since the change in ownership, we have visited this restaurant twice - once for takeout and once for dining in. The food was absolutely delicious, and the margaritas have improved. The service was top-notch as well. View menu

Great food, a hometown legend. They've been here as long as I can remember, and even went to school with the family. I can't find what year they opened, but I know it's been a Fox Valley Diamond for at least 30 years!

tacos are very overpriced, because not automatically bring some cut lime and hot sauce with them. the mol sauce was too sweet and not even spicy. the horchata tasted as if it had been made with some powder. it wasn't cinnamon. didn't cost anything real. Moreover, the service was extremely slow for an empty restaurant with just a few mosquitoes inside.

Tacos are very overpriced, for not automatically bringing some sliced lime and hot sauce with them. The mole sauce was too sweet and not spicy at all. The horchata tasted like it was made with some powder. There was no cinnamon in it. Didn't tasteanything authentic. On top of all that, the service was extremely slow for an empty restaurant with only a few patrons inside. View menu

Dined here for the first time with some friends and we were all very disappointed. Chips and salsa meh. Margarita meh, and small for $9.99. Taco dinner meh. Felt like a waste of money and calories. Food was way overpriced for what it was. The staff was very kind and friendly, so one star for that, but since I didn't enjoy the food I would not return. Far better choices in the area for Mexican food.

This place is incredibly overpriced. It costs $32.13 for 5 tacos that have barely any cilantro and onion on them. The sauce is largely flavorless and the meat barely tastes like anything. This is the most inoffensive Mexican food I've ever had. It's like the subway of Mexican food in that it's edible and that's about it. The green sauce is spicier than the red sauce. It costs $6 per taco. I've had dollar tacos that taste 3 times as good. They also used tasteless white corn tortillas instead of the normal yellow ones. I had to ask for sauce they didn't give it to me. There were no limes. Go to El Sazon down the street for an immensely improved experience.
