"Today was a great day for hot soup, salad, and sandwiches because it was raining cats and dogs. We could barely see the road while on the freeway as we drove down to pick up some food at Erik's Deli Cafe. There were a few people eating inside, but we didn't have to wait in a line to order our food. I ended up choosing a new item which I haven't tried before which was the Chicken Wrangler Wrap. The rest of the family ordered house salad, Tomato Basil Bisque soup, Pilgrim's Progress sandwich, and Isle of Capri sandwich. The cashier was polite and took our order. He didn't ask too many questions. They made our food pretty quick and we were on our way with our to go order. The Chicken Wrangler Wrap was a warm sandwich/wrap which I didn't expect. It also had a lot of sauce. The taste was OK, but if I were to get it again, I think I would ask them to go lite on the sauce. My family enjoyed their selections."

$16 for a chicken sandwich is just too pricey. The food is good, but it's not worth that much.

After our hike at Mission Peak, my friend and I stopped by this place. The fresh vegetable sandwiches were excellent!

Great sandwiches, fresh ingredients, sandwiches aren't your typical over processed, packaged kind, better combo of ingredients. Great soups, too.

The sandwiches here are fantastic, and the staff is incredibly attentive. I also love that they use sprouts, which is a rare find. I absolutely appreciate restaurants that include sprouts in their dishes! View menu

The prices are a bit high for the portion sizes, but it's definitely worth it. The sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients, and the soups are delicious. I highly recommend trying the REO Speedwagon sandwich alongside a bowl of tomato bisque.

Veggie sandwich was 6 stars, really good. The other two, chicken pesto and tuna were OK. I feel tuna was mushy and not designed well, choice of soft bread, tuna salad, and avocado just didn 't resonate. Will go there for the harvest sandwich again.

It's a bit pricey for the portion, but it's well worth it. Sandwiches with fresh ingredients, delicious soups, I highly recommend an REO Speedwagon with a bowl of tomato bisque. Vegetarian options: Without checking the menu, there are at least two vegetarian sandwiches and they're both delicious. View menu

Their remodel looks great, but unfortunately it came with new menu prices. Most sandwiches are around $9 and a cup of soup is $4.50 now. The last couple of times we were there they were out of a soup and it was 12:30pm with no line. They do make excellent sandwiches and soups, as well as offering great gluten-free options.

I never expected to give Erik's Deli a five-star review, but the friendly and attentive service, along with the generous and fresh salad I received, absolutely deserves it. The lettuce, greens, and vegetables were incredibly fresh — no old lettuce from the day before like you sometimes find in other delis. The portion size was quite generous, too. The dressings were also a cut above the usual bottled options, which can really influence your opinion on any salad. I ordered the house green salad, and it was loaded with fresh ingredients like sprouts, sliced red peppers, chickpeas, cucumbers, red onion, and topped with croutons. It was a hearty and healthy lunch that exceeded my expectations. I...
