"2-month update: Even after Firehouse Subs responded to my initial review by stating they wanted to make this right regarding their error, I still haven 't heard a thing from them. Clearly there is an issue with their website ordering process asI had ordered a large Hook n Ladder for $16.00 and received two slices of toast upon delivery to my house (see original reviewand photo of actual sandwich/bread that accompanied it). Quite unbecoming ofa company that tries to portray itself as a virtuous supporter of the firefighters in our communities. We spent $80.00 onour Firehouse order last week for 4 sandwiches--including 2 large Hook n Ladders--and 2 cups of soup. Upon delivery, one of theHook n Ladders was literally just the bread!!! Zero ingredients! It was supposed to be a Hook n Ladder and it literally was justthe bread! See accompanying photo! When I called the store to inform them, the employee simply said that some people just orderbread!!! Really??? Some people specifically order a Hook n Ladder for $16.00 and just ask for the bread?!? I doubt it. Don 't youthink an employee would have called to verify the customer didn 't want any ingredients on the their $16.00 sandwich theyspecifically ordered as a Hook n Ladder?? What kind of world do we live in these days?!?!? At least they included the pickle?"

The food is amazing and absolutely worth it! They also support firefighters and other services, which I appreciate. I always round up my bill to help their efforts in assisting fire and EMT services. The staff is consistently friendly and welcomes you warmly when you walk in.

Firehouse Subs offers tasty sandwiches that may take a bit longer to prepare, but the wait is worth it. Although the staff wasn't very warm, they efficiently made our sandwiches, which outweighed any drawbacks. Overall, they did a fantastic job. The medium sandwiches from their menu are large enough to share, so keep that in mind when ordering.

They offer a great selection of sides, including side salads and soups. I particularly enjoy the salad because it includes more than just tomatoes, though I do remove the pepperoncini since I'm not a fan of that. One of my friends tried the Chicken and Dumpling soup and absolutely loved it. This time, I also sampled a cookie; it was decent, but the brownie is truly amazing! The only downside for me is the Coke Freestyle machine for fountain drinks. I find that the beverages can taste off due to the mixture of flavors that come from a single nozzle, though bottled drinks are available as an alternative.
