"What a lovely restaurant! The decor is clean and inviting, and the servers are fantastic. The food is absolutely delicious! They offer lunch specials that are the same as the regular menu items, just in smaller portions and at a lower price. I’m so glad we have one in Sarasota! The staff is very accommodating and eager to meet your needs. Additionally, the glassware they sell is stunning and quite artistic—definitely unique! Just be aware that it can be a bit tricky to find the right road to get there, so it’s a good idea to look it up beforehand."

"I have always loved The Ale House. Last night, they had to handle a 40-person and a 25-person holiday gathering. Despite the large groups, the staff performed admirably and the kitchen managed to keep up with the orders. Both the front and back of house employees deserve praise for their hard work under pressure. The food was delicious. While I usually go for the Big Red sandwich, which I highly recommend, this time I tried the French onion soup and the new Zinger Tika wrap. I finished every bite and thoroughly enjoyed my meal."

"My husband ordered a 1-1-1 with eggs over medium. Our breakfast arrived promptly. He started buttering it when he realized the pancake was raw inside. He let the waitress know and she took the plate back. She brought his plate back with the same pancake on it. Cooked more but mushy from the butter and the egg was cold. My husband asked to speak to the manager. She came over and he began telling her about the pancake. To our utter disbelief she began to talk about how the storm (Ian) was to blame. I realize the storm affected everyone in different ways. We have found ourselves homeless. But to blame the storm for not doing what was right?"

"Our first visit to a First Watch was on a Sunday morning that felt like all the world had decided to go out to breakfast! The entire staff works as a fine tuned machine enabling customers to enjoy their meal in a calm atmosphere in spite of the very busy morning. Lindsay, our server, was friendly and attentive and made our first visit wonderful. It was the small details that made this visit memorable, the lemon and honey served with selection of teas, the warm bottle of syrup, carafe of coffee, crispy bacon and gigantic pancake! We ordered the gingerbread donut holes to go. Lindsay didn’t let us leave without them. The donuts were an extraordinary treat at home. We will be back again soon."

"We were on the way to Tampa yesterday from an event in Sarasota and we are glad to have found it. The food was amazing and the staff was wonderful. Although we arrived near the closing time, they didn't feel hurried and our food was super fresh. I had the Grouper Carciofi and my husband had the Key West Sandwich made with cod (not use Tilapia like most places when they say white fish. My husband's sandwich was huge and delicious. My dinner was huge and warmed up today as it was last night. We're coming back!"
