"Happy Pizza Friday! Picture worthy pizza!Appetizers helped tide us over before the za arrived. Two pizza choices: Regular Joe's Pizza Marco's Italian Beef. The regular Joe was a pizza special of the week. The regular Joe was cut into triangles. The triangle cut did not incorporate well with the other ingredients. Drizzled with a ranch crema that doesn't taste like ranch?Marco's Italian Beef was square cut. Square cut for the win! Happily enjoyed the spiciness added from the hot giandenaire and thought the square cut offered the perfect bite. The appetizers were filling, good, and served promptly.Non-alcoholic Heineken was good, but I was feeling a stout."

We had our daughter's surprise engagement party on the patio and it was great. Food and service were very good. Management was helpful while we were planning and got back to us quickly with answers to our many questions. The package pricing was a good value.

Now THAT was Chicago tavern style pizza!! The draft beer suited me just fine as well, but let's face it, the pizza is the main attraction, where all the craftsmanship is. After a full day at the Field Museum this was a perfect stop before jumping back on the Metra. ???Food: 5/5 View menu

Absolutely incredible service! We got there 15 mins until closing and they let us wait for our food inside even after closing. Their food was top-notch. I got the caprese sandwich I absolutely hate pesto. They changed my mind. It was so well made. I'd love to go back!!Food: 5/5

Excellent spot for some food and drink, pizza is amazing and on a thinner crust which is great if you're not feeling the deep dish in Chicago. Staff are friendly, ticket times are quick and restaurant is clean. I really can't fault the restaurant, definitely worth che king out if you're in the area.

I wish I could afford to eat here every day. Everything on their menu is great, literally every single item. I love getting their rotating pasta choices and my fiancee is obsessed with their meatballs. I used to live across the street from them andwent through a phase of ordering through them almost every other day seriously addictive. View menu

Nice tavern style pizza spot with Polish influenced items on the menu. Pierogi Sampler Platter was delicious! Pizza ingredients are fresh and made to order. Had the Santo's Margherita Medium 12' serves 1 2 people. A bit pricey at $21. One bartender manning the front who treats you like a regular. I suspect this place to be typically busy and patrons seem like regulars. Will be back to try their other specialty pizzas!

The food was great. Tavern style pizza, the best waffle fries we've had, delicious cocktails. The service was spotty. We wouldn't see our server for like 15 minutes at a time. So when they bought blue cheese instead of ranch and then later forgot the parmesean and red pepper flakes we waited about 10 minutes before getting up to ask the hostess to help. Forget ordering second drinks. Also, the umbrella on the outdoor patio fell over and I caught it before it hit my child in the head. I couldn't get it back on it was so heavy. No one from the restaurant came over to help... at all. Lol. Also, they allow off leash dogs on the patio.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
