"We got take out for dinner. My wife wanted and has been wanting fried craw fish tails. She took one bite and could not get it out of her mouth fast enough. We took the batter off and they were black not the color they are supposed to be. They smelled horrible. We called them and they said sorry you took the food home we can't do anything about it. I'm not sure how to post pictures on here but I have them. Not even an I'm sorry can you bring them back or any kind of restitution. If that's even the right thing to say. We have been here before and family goes to this restaurant and no problems. I just can't believe they would serve this."

Good food at a great price. Much of it is caught by the owners from what I understand. We enjoy the food.

Staff were friendly and accommodating! We had the boudin balls, fried red fish, and grilled flouder. All were fresh and delicious.

The restrooms stink so bad! The water tastes like the restrooms smell. Ither than that the food is always great! Wish they would get the blue cheese dressing back! View menu

Absolutely loved this place! Seems like a nice staple of the area. Very cheap prices for such awesome food. Will be coming back many more times and would highly recommend it.

Those oysters are not fresh! I had a feeling but 100% confirmed my thought the second time. They taste like bucket oysters, they reuse the shells I’m sure of it. They’ll charge “fresh” oyster prices for garbage. The other food was mid, rice is no good either.

RIP OFF!!! THEY CHARGE YOU $2 EXTRA IF YOU WANT EXTRA VEGETABLES AND NO RICE! I'VE NEVER HEARD OF A PLACE THAT CALL IT A SUBSTITUTION WHEN AN ENTREE COMES WITH RICE AND VEGETABLES AND YOU ASK FOR NO RICE JUST VEGETABLES! I CAN UNDERSTAND GETTING AN EXERCISE AND BEING CHARGED BUT STILL GETTING TWO SIDES WITH THE ENTREE AND IT'S $2 MORE? THEN THEY CHARGE FOR YOU TO GRILL THE VEGGIES VERSUS HAVING THEM STEAMED. I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The catfish was awful and the fries that came with my combo were unappetizing, as if the fryer oil hadn’t been changed in weeks. The popcorn shrimp was also greasy. Overall, it was just a disappointing experience; I had to throw away more than half of my meal, which wasn't cheap to begin with, because it was simply inedible. I will not be returning and definitely do not recommend this place.

Picked up an order didn't eat. That place is INCREDIBLY FILTHY. The ceilings are stained and coming down, the staff looks like they just woke up, smells like grease, the decor is from 1970 literally that's never been changed. This isn't the only location like this. All of them tend to be in run down condemned buildings full of roaches and probably rats. Batbrooms are so disgusting, the toilets are falling apart and leaking. It's disgusting. They need Gordon Ramsey

"Killen’s BBQ in Texas is nothing short of a culinary masterpiece, offering an authentic and unforgettable barbecue experience. From the moment you walk in, the rich aroma of smoked meats welcomes you, promising a feast like no other. The brisket at Killen’s is the crown jewel—perfectly marbled, tender, and bursting with smoky flavor. Each slice melts in your mouth, leaving you craving more. The ribs are another highlight, with a beautifully caramelized bark that gives way to juicy, succulent meat. And if you’re a fan of pulled pork, theirs is simply outstanding, packed with deep, smoky goodness and seasoned to perfection. The sides are just as impressive. The mac and cheese is creamy and decadent, with just the right amount of cheese pull, while the creamed corn offers a sweet and savory balance that complements the smoky meats perfectly. The coleslaw is crisp and refreshing, providing a nice contrast to the richness of the barbecue. What truly sets Killen’s apart is the attention to detail and commitment to quality. The meats are smoked low and slow, ensuring that every bite is infused with deep, complex flavors. The service is friendly and efficient, making you feel right at home in this cozy, laid-back setting. Whether you’re a barbecue aficionado or just looking for an incredible meal, Killen’s BBQ is a must-visit. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself planning your next visit before you even leave. Simply put, this is Texas barbecue at its finest."
