"We were pretty disappointed when we walked into this restaurant from the street and realized it was a Holiday Inn restaurant. It felt like you were in a hotel lobby restaurant and the food seemed like it as well. As we were eating, hotel guests were coming down for their buffet breakfasts and it was a very weird environment. The service was very slow, even though the restaurant was pretty empty. There were no breakfast/brunch drinks or specials, other than what you would expect when you get a hotel continental breakfast. The food itself was okay, but I definitely would not go back."

We went to see Chicago at the Belk and this restaurant was close by. Making reservations was easy, we were sat right away, the food was amazing and service was great. The price was very reasonable as well.

Luca (head chef) was so accommodating and personable to our table. We had an outstanding time talking and getting to know Luca. He listened to what we wanted, liked and even took into consideration our food allergies and brought us out something new to try that was safe to eat! Food was delicious will definitely be back.

Great little Italian restaurant attached to the Holiday Inn uptown. We were seated right away and server came quickly. The only reason this is 4 instead of 5 stars is that we were not immediately ready to order. It then took her quite a while to come back. After that, all was great again. Food is good and good price, especially for uptown. View menu

First time to Forchetta. Went before play at Blumenthal. Don't let the fact that it is in a hotel dissuade you. By being in the hotel we also got free parking. Server and District Manager both were attentive and professional and made it a very pleasant experience. Drinks and food were very good. We split the house appetizer and each had a delicious entree. Prices are reasonable and portions are ample.

Chef Luca and Bartender Danny, truly made our experience unforgettable. My boyfriend and I traveled from Seattle to explore Knoxville TN, Charlotte NC, and Virginia Beach, and our favorite memory was hanging out at Forchetta. The food was immaculate and the drinks hit the spot.Luca and Danny made sure that we were well taken care of. They were some of the kindest people we’ve ever met.We will be sure to stop by the next time we are in Charlotte.

"My friends and I were enjoying a beautiful night in South End and one of them had found this place online. So we stopped by for a drink. Wow! Gorgeous place! The interior design gave me the warm, welcoming feeling of being at The Grand Bohemian Lodge in Greenville SC- upscale, but unpretentious, inviting, and fun. We were immediately welcomed by the bartenders who talked to us about their different beers and kombuchas. We ordered a couple of flights to sample as many as we could and sat down to play Jenga in one of their many seating areas. Our spot was 2 old leather couches flanking a gorgeous wooden coffee table. So relaxing and sociable. I’ve never been in a brew pub with so much greenery (ferns and other foliage adorn and drape from the rafters filling corners and crannies around the room), natural wood, and light! Another great feature was a floor-to-ceiling wall cabinet filled with really cool things. The beers were unique and fun to try. The vibe is worth the visit even if you don’t love beer. I enjoyed a glass of prosecco and loved learning about and sampling the other beverages. They also have a great outdoor space for gathering where dogs are welcome. My sense is this place was designed for building community, which is something we all need more of. Turn off your cellphones and come here to meet people, pet dogs, and enjoy a great experience!"
