"After we had learned that we celebrated our 45th anniversary, the assistent mary passed and up to provide such a great service. she found us a really good table and even had the singer on the stage to dedicate us a love song. she was also very helpful with places we could visit and activities we could do in las vegas. our waitress (which unfortunately did not get their names) was very attentive, but not intrusive. the food was also recommended."

Bar was too slow to make bottomless drink specials worthwhile; pancakes were much too doughy but French toast was amazing. View menu

live country music was quite loud. service was good. eating was good, but the menu published online was not the same in the restaurant. overall it was okay, but I wouldn't be back.

The live music was a nice addition. Good portions of food. If you’re getting your parking validated do not let the host put the sticker over the QR code on the parking receipt. The parking attendant was extremely rude.

I enjoyed my breakfast. I had the French toast which are my favorite. I enjoyed the live music it was awesome. Service was a little slow but I think it’s because of them being short staff. I was patient with them and I’ll be back!! View menu

The food didn’t blow me away. The mimosas were flat. The girl singing was talented but when we walked down Fremont afterwards there were some amazing singers just singing for tips outside. Freedom Beat should hire some of them. The only reason I gave the scores I did was because of the friendly service.

Understaffed. Waist rest running her tail off but took 30 mins to get water and order taken. Loved chicken and waffles. Second restaurant that week that served cold runny whites on eggs. Over easy here barely cooked through on the whites. Puddled on the plate and still served!? Good music at the brunch. Made the wait tolerable. If we had a timeline we would have left. If staffed may be worth another try.

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
