"I used to love this place and say it got better everytime I went. However when I was eating today with my girlfriend she found a small caterpillar in her phô. We both lost our appetite and notified the manager. He apologized and said he wouldn't charge. However he came back and said he just took off her phô. The biggest problem wasn't even the money it's that the apology was half baked and rushed. He made us as though he couldn't be bothered with it. I have never felt compelled to write a review but when one of my favorite restaurants does some like this it really annoys me. I'm in the food industry too so I understand how hard it is. That doesn't excuse the behavior today. I will stop coming here and not recommend it anymore. I am very disappointed and hope they fix their problems in the future."

"This is a MUST stop if you haven?t tried zack?s yet. My husband and I have had many drives up to this area but would alter our route and drive extra just to stop at zack?s. It is like no tacos we have ever had. The flavors are wild and perfect and likeno other. You can?t go wrong in what ever protein you choose. We also love the vegetarian one! The Nachos wow. The chips getthe large and you will thank yourselves later. Empanadas!!!!!!!!! There?s often specials. My husbands 30th was catered by zacksand the customer service from Zacks wife, Amanda, was impeccable. She carefully was on the phone with me to make sure we checkedall boxes for the event and was honest if I was about to order way too much for that amount of people haha. All the trays weredelivered right to my car. We know the owners very well. It is owned by a small adorable family who gives back and does a lotfor the community. The creator of the menu, is classically trained and obviously added his own bold flare to various Mexicandishes. They make everything fresh? (the ingredients are exquisite and perfect)? this is not a fast food joint I wouldrecommend calling ahead if your in a time crunch. Basically, be willing to wait a few more minutes for amazingness. It?s a smallkitchen with a whole lotta love and talent? just plan accordingly and be patient. We love Zack?s and we can?t to see what theydo next. We are lifers. Will continue to add pictures!"

"Wonderful little hole in the wall, definitely off the beaten path. This is in an area where there is almost NO cell reception, so know where you are going as your GPS might cut out on you. Its easy to find. We passed this on the way to the candle store and antique shop just down the road. We asked at the candle shop and they said this was a good place to eat....and it was. Had the sense that this is where the locals go. We were there a on the cusp of breakfast and lunch. We got breakfast. Wife got the creamed chipped beef and it was very tasty, no your usual pasty white floury goo with the occasional bit of dried beef...this is the real deal. We shared a piece of French toast which was done nicely (more cinnamon! I had a traditional breakfast with scrapple. (look it up those of you from parts unknown . The scrapple was made at a local meat company. I have to imagine that the lunch menu would be just as good. All in all, yes, its diner food, but its diner food done well. I think I am the first to review this place...how fortunate."

"Some vegan options with alterations but not the type of place that makes you excited to eat there as a vegan. Friendly staff is willing to modify meals. Some items that can be modified for vegan diet: Southwest salad (hold dairy-based avocado dressing), pretzel (ask for no butter dip, comes with queso and honey mustard options- ask for plain mustard), beyond burger with udi kaiser roll, pizzas (no cheese but lots of veg), buffalo cauliflower bites (hold the ranch)."
