"first visit in leeds and I were not disappointed. Saturday lunch (a brunch menu) was very good. I had the burger and asked for several accommodations that were easily granted. the burger was delicious and cooked according to my specifications. see several other menu items delivered and all looked wonderful! the decor is very pleasant and comfortable. there is a sitting area in the open (closed because it was winter) that will surely be a draw during the warmer weather! returns when I am in the opposite!"

"This was a very clean very fast White Castle. I was on my way from Chicago to Michigan to visit my parents I had flown in the night before ftom Florida. This was the last convenient White Castle to hit before my parents and since I was flying out from Grand Rapids the last one on my trip. So I stopped and was impressed by the friendliness, speed, and how fresh everything was. I will hit this WC next time I’m out visiting."

"went to hollys last nite 5-27 for dinner tried a new dish never had before it was the breakfast burrito had meat scambled eggs lettuce tomatoe and cheese on top. Got to say the thing was huge and good had to bring half home. Also came with salsa and chips. dkp 5-28-23"

"Wonderful steakhouse in Michigan city. Honestly this place was incredible and I only wish I had discovered it sooner. My girlfriend and I loved our meal. We started with the Galvistan sampler as an appatiser. The appatiser was loaded with 4 ribs, 4 wings, 4 cheese sticks, and 4 jalapeño popers. We then had one of several specials: the T-bone and perch. It came with lobster bisque and the waiter treated us with an extra side salad. To top it off, we were treated with a brownie desert. They also had a fantastic Guinness stout on draft. Overall incredible experience leading me to tip around 80% and hopping that was enough of a thank you for the service and excellent experience!"

"WE were traveling through the area thinking about getting a burger and a dog. WE remembered reading about this place doing research on the north western part of Indiana and decided to stop in for dinner. It is a well done restaurant. Atmosphere is nice and clean. It has that 50 's feel to it with era posters and memorabilia on the walls. The original Schoop 's restaurant was established in the region in 1948. Since that time it has spread to almost 20 different locations. It had garnered renown early on in its existence. As for how that early success translates to today we will summarize here. With the expansion of the different sites in the region it certainly can be assumed it has a nice following. For us we found the restaurant to be a bit pricey and nothing just wowed us. We ordered the Schoop 's Hamburger and the Schoop 's Mickey (in essence the cheeseburger). The flat hamburger is made in house and the edges are cooked to a thin crisp greasy point. We liked not loved the burgers. We also ordered their Chicago style hotdog. It was a very good all meat hot dog with a great bite to it. We added to that a side order of onion rings which were just okay-nothing special. What was enjoyable was the strawberry shake but again at $3.99 for 16 oz. and you have to wonder about the value of items received. Service as well was scattered is how we would describe it. Gone for long periods of time and inattentive. It was a very young lady so perhaps it was inexperience but felt it was a bit lacking at times. Our experience here was a pretty average experience. Nothing to rave about for sure. Add to it the lack of perceived value for the food offerings, quantity and quality and we feel it is a 3 star place. It might be interesting to visit the place Schoop 's started back in 1948, but we are unlikely repeat visitors to their Michigan City restaurant."
