"Family had a weekend dinner at this Elk Point Road in Zepher's Cove Restaurant. There were two choices in this shopping center; Japanese or Mexican, although we both like, this night Asian cuisine won out. There are many tables here both in and outside, service was good and food was served promptly. Our order consisted of Tempura Combination Dinner, Sushi Special #2, Kamikaze, Tempura Roll and Bento Chicken Box. Family all enjoyed their meals, although if you think of ordering the Tempura Combination dinner, I suggest only the tempura dinner as the only difference as I can say, you get a piece of shrimp empura with the combination for a higher price plate. There is no room for rest, but one outside a community area with other companies. I thought the price was on the high side. Otherwise, I'd probably eat again here because the place had a nice atmosphere."

Delicious! Sampled some of their signature dishes and was very impressed. They have many mouth watering, colorful creative rolls as well as a great staff to take care of you!

Great foods. Both noodles and sushi were really good. The Lion King was my favorite. There is no parking in front. It is on a pedestrian only path so you are likely to miss it from a car.

Sushi chef Jacques knows how to craft an excellent sushi roll. The quality of the food is great, the atmosphere is enjoyable, and our meals were served quickly. I also liked sitting at the sushi bar!

This place was disappointing. We left almost the whole food. The udon soup was bland, the tempura was raw, the chicken was burnt, the sushi roll was rolled so sloppy. Save your money, go somewhere else. The server was nice. View menu

The baked sushi with parmesan is distinctive and delicious. The "I Love You" roll has quickly become a new favorite of mine. Other sushi places had hour-long waits, so we decided to try this one, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. Don't let the simple storefront in the strip mall deter you; it's definitely worth a visit. Our waitress, Brie, was fantastic.

Absolutely the best sushi spot in Tahoe! Having grown up in the South Sea, I can say that many restaurants have struggled with poor service post-COVID. However, this place stands out with its fantastic service and friendly staff. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the smiles from the employees are genuine and warm. If I could rate it higher than five stars, I definitely would! Thank you once again to the amazing team at Harumi! View menu

Tyler was an excellent server. We had originally waited for almost 45 minutes at the Sushi Pier before we even got half of our order and our drinks. We came to Harumi Sushi to take care of lost time and Tyler definitely took care of us. Had our drinks in less than eight minutes and our food in less than 15 minutes. This man even had the opportunity to be a host while taking care of the customer's orders. Tyler definitely understands the dynamics of this company and deserves a huge scream.

This man even had the audacity to even be hostwhile he took care of the customer?s orders. Tyler definitely understands the dynamics of this business and deserves a hugeshout out.

"Tahoe Tavern Grill is a waste of time and money. The food is mediocre, the service is slow, and the owner is rude and disrespectful. I ordered a burger medium and it came out well done. I told the server and they told me that ordering medium isn't a good idea because it just comes out well done anyways. I should have been told that before I ordered, not after. I then ordered the burger medium rare, but it came out well done again. It also took a long time to arrive. I told the server and they said it would be taken off the bill. However, when the bill came, the burger was still on the bill. I told the server and they said the owner makes the choices on that. Again, I should have been told that beforehand. I spoke to the owner and she tried to stick us with the bill for the burger. When I explained the issue, she got defensive and disrespectful and just said she would just take it off and stormed off. Maybe the cooks need to learn what medium and medium rare means when cooking a burger because they cannot make a burger to save their lives. Gordon Ramsay perhaps needs to teach them? Locals and tourists alike must not know what good food tastes like because this place doesn't deserve anywhere near close to a 4.4 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend avoiding Tahoe Tavern Grill at all costs. There are much better restaurants in the area with better food, better service, and better owners. Update: Due to my review I have received various hateful messages from the chef Jason Winslow. I hope he gets help because the messages are not from a person who's mentally healthy. I know some great therapists if you need them."
