"We were recommended this restaurant and went in with high hopes. Their burger is now among my top 10 favorites of all time (I can't recall the other nine right now, so don't ask!). It was cooked to perfection! The hand-cut fries, which are my favorite, were fantastic—completely grease-free. My husband really enjoyed his chicken sandwich, particularly the spicy pickles that accompanied it. We've also heard that their brunch is excellent, so that's next on our list! I highly recommend this place—10/10!"

The experience was quite inconsistent. I ordered takeout today and went for the fried chicken sandwich. The pictures on the website suggested it would be crispier. I was disappointed to find that the meal consisted of small, soggy chicken and limp fries, especially considering it cost $16.

Stopped by Hazel's this past Sunday (9/11/22) for brunch with my stepmom. We were able to be seated within 15 minutes despite the brunch crowd, and enjoyed our table outdoors. Serving staff were knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly, food camein a timely manner and boy was it GOOD! Good coffee, good service, good time. Thank you!

Dear Hazels NE! You've been here for years. It is an old school joint that serves Americana with great service! Tonight we had chicken wafers, fish chips and gumbo. Everyone was very happy with his meals and again the service was very attentive. I had the gumbo that was delicious, but the shrimps were not properly revealed. Will visit Hazels NE again View menu

My sweet and sassy hubby and I went to Hazels this morning for breakky, oh my goodness it was amazing!! We had the beignets, the beef hash, and the mean Jean’s sandwich. It was all delish!! We got a reservation based on previous reviews and glad we did.The ambiance and service was great. My man liked the coffee and appreciated the to-go cup at the end of the meal. I hope to beback!

We had dinner on the terrace by the walkway, and the service was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly. We shared the beef stew sandwich and the lasagna, which were both delicious. For dessert, we decided to try the mini donut bread pudding, and it was phenomenal—truly something worthy of the state fair! I would definitely recommend this place to friends and would love to return.

This place had the best chicken fried steak I have ever had in my life! They take care in making old dishes and new dishes extraordinarily delicious. I went back the next day to try their drunken French toast and it was the best French toast I haveever had in my life. The wait staff was super friendly and the outdoor seating allowed me to keep an eye on my bike whichprobably wasn't needed in this neighborhood.
