"Came for Houston Restaurant Week (HRW 2023). It's Downtown so you already know how the parking situation is going to be. But once you get over the parking lol, the space is very cute. The hostess greeted us and took upstairs to be seated. Again, it's Downtown so the buildings are narrow and built up. So the tables are very close together so the servers has to squeeze in between tables. I wasn't a fan of the set up because it was very tight to sit. Overall, the server was good. Now the food? Very good!!! I got the egg rolls which was very yummy and hot. My sister for the calamari and shrimp, she said it was spicy for her but it was perfect For me (spicy is subjective). My mom enjoyed her salad. The shrimp and grits was great!!! Not enough grits in my opinion but enough to fill me up. My sister got the lamb chops, mom got the chicken. Everybody enjoyed their food! I'll definitely will be back."

Great place for Sunday Brunch! It’s also very convenient to the Hobby Center where we were going to a Musical. Parking on the street is free on Sunday, which is a bonus! View menu

I’ve been there multiple times , this time the food all around was average.. actually pretty disappointed with how the appetizers and meals came out. The only thing that was good was the dessert 5/10

We had shrimp grits and the red fish tacos with elote and all were excellent. Dinner was busy at 6 pm on Wednesday so reservations advised we got last table available as a walk in. Service was excellent.

Dined here with some friends. We all tasted each others food and everything was delicious. The interior was very nice and different with brick walls and a high ceiling. The decor was unique. Definitely recommend trying this place out View menu

10/10. The ambience was nice with dim lighting. There’s a balcony but it was closed by the time I arrived. The food was light yet flavorful. I started with glass of Pinot Grigio and the Aco-cucumber salad followed by the lamb chops (medium-perfectly tender) with baby potatoes and broccolini, finished with the bread pudding for dessert. It was a perfect solo date.

This place is cozy. It's narrow with bench and chair seating upstairs and downstairs. The low lighting may make it difficult for some to easily read the menu. The food is easily good overall, but I'd skip the artisan bread board. I found the fritters greasy and the other offerings fairly bland. The chicken milanese was delicious and the garlic green beans were outstanding. The roasted poblano soup was enjoyable and I loved the jalapeño cocktail. I've been a few times and will continue to go back.

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
