"We decided to stop here on our way through Bedford PA and I am so glad we did. The food was Awesome. I ordered the filet medium rare and it came out fast and perfect. The salad and dessert bar was great. They also had a tostitos bar that had fantastic guacamole and the French onion soup was very tasty. This is probably the closest to home cooking that I have had in a restaurant. If you are passing Bedford, PA and are looking for good food, stop by its definitely worth it! We go fron NJ to Ohio regularly and this is a pretty good halfway point to stop so we will definitely be back!"

A very homey restaurant. The salad bar was full and was very good. Lots of different dressing options. The steaks that we ordered were cooked as ordered (rare medium), but were done on the wrong steaks... Server mixed up the order. The taste was good, and so we did not complain. I should have known something was up when the waiter said “I’m required to tell you the ribeye is marbled”. Well, of course it is! All ribeyes are marbled. Hoss’s idea of marbled is full of hard gristles. Worst steak I’ve ever had. Save your money and don’t buy the ribeye! The other cuts I’ve had there were fantastic. So disappointing. I visited this Hoss's for a late supper recently. The staff was friendly, and we were seated within a few minutes. The salad bar is a highlight of my visit, and it was clean and well stocked. Everything tasted fresh, and a lot of options were available! In addition to the salad bar, I also ordered a steak. I would rate the steak 3.5 of 5 stars. It was properly cooked, but lacked flavor, and was slightly tough referring the steak slightly undesirable. Overall, I rate my visit 4 of 5 stars. Will definitely visit again.
