Hudson Market Bistro

This dining experience was even worse than what you would expect from a typical hotel restaurant. The food was cold and unappealing, and the service was disappointing.

Food and service were great but absolutely no one was there. Felt sort of weird to have no one else around. Not recommended for early evening before theatre dining. No one is there.

The waitress was excellent and the food was enjoyable, but the cook changed my order without asking me because they were out of one of the items I requested. The fries arrived cold, but the waitress quickly replaced them. The calamari was tasty and the burger patty was good, but the bun let it down. View menu

We had a large family dinner and the restaurant was very accommodating. We enjoyed our dinner and had a good experience. The only negative was the service was a little on the slow side. I would definitely recommend to others looking for a good decent not very expensive dinner in the theatre district. We would definitely go back.

Service was absolutely terrible. The waitress refilled our waters only once after I had to wave her down; the food was mediocre, overpriced, and it took FOREVER (restaurant was barely busy maybe two small tables when we were seated, and 2 more small tables (2 4 people when we left). Also they tack on a mandatory gratuity of 15% for groups of 5 or more. Do not eat here!

I thought the space was pleasant enough but the service was mixed. They refused to seat only part of our large party of 10+ because some were a few minutes late even though it was 5pm and there was literally not 1 person seated in the restaurant. Our waiter was great, but the food is really not that good. Is it that hard to make a decent hamburger when that's all you really serve? Food came out cold and buns weren't fresh. Our group of 8 arrived in NY excited to see the tree but very tired and very hungry .The location of this restaurant was easy to find in Times Square . We were slightly sceptical because very few people were there but pleasantly surprised. The food was very good, prices reasonable waitstaff nice and we were able to regroup in a quite location while we ate. When we left more people had come in so it Is possible that people eat later in NY. Our reservations were at 7:30. Hamburgers were wonderful and my salad was excellent

i read good reviews about this [lace, so I chose it for a group of 12 pre theater dinner. The menu had wonderful selections. The waitress got our drinks out right away. And then we sat and had to track our waitress down to take the orders. One hour later, our burgers came out delicious but room temperature, as if they had been sitting around for a while. The staff seemed flustered and overwhelmed. The host was doing waiter duties, and our waitress was lollygagging. The place was not crowded AT ALL, so there was little excuse for the delay. it's too bad becasue teh food was GOOD.

I I didn't realise the restaurant was in a Sheraton Hotel when I booked online, so I was a little surprised when we got there to see that it was essentially the hotel's regular restaurant where they served their breakfast and lunch (it had a bit of that institutional feel to it). The food was ho-hum and not inexpensive for what are essentially variations of hamburgers and fries. The staff appeared a little overworked and weren't very attentive; they missed our daughter's side dish and rarely came by to see if we were all right. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, just not very memorable and I wouldn't go back for dinner unless I was stuck without a reservation. View menu
