"As first generation Americans from Germany, this place impressed us. My favorite meal I had while in Door County! Kid-friendliness: You can bring kids here (we did) but I probably wouldn't again. It's a big lofted space where little voices can travel and I felt like the environment wasn't super conducive to having kids. The staff was great to the kids and they have a kids menu so they are welcoming of kids, I just felt a bit bad having my toddlers there."

This place hit all the marks on a recent mini-vacation to Door County. I love supper clubs, and this one honestly is one of the best I've come across throughout Wisconsin. A local person recommended this restaurant to me. I am very grateful for that because this is a gem of a restaurant in Door County. We got there at 4 pm when they opened and were promtly seated. By the time we left, all tables were filled. The menu is classic German cuisine. The service was great and food was fabulous. Portions are generous. This place is good. I've been to a lot of German restaurants, so I know what I'm talking about. The veal schnitzel was good, the goulash was delicious, and the German pretzel was expensive, but on point. And of course, the beer was good. Excellent old school bar, off the main dining room. I do recommend you call before going on a weekend to check on the wait time. If you're in the mood for German food, this is the place to go. Service: Dine in
