Lovely ambiance. The interior was gotgeous. The servers were well informed of the menu.

Unusual flavours. Comfortable pretty room. Extremely accommodating staff. Enjoyed it thoroughly. I'll go back.

a precious stone that unfortunately is not dressed, a Friday night crowd. eating was fabulous-middle east and excellent. service was great. all that was missing were more customers. highly recommended if they are really in eating, creative ethnic cuisine.

We visited Hungry Amoo during Summerlicious and were extremely pleased with our experience. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the ambiance was pleasant. We also tried their weekend brunch and were impressed with the menu and the quality of the food.

There were four in our party this evening. For appetizers, we had two orders of the beef Tamarind and it was delicious! All four of us enjoyed it immensely. Three in our party had the lamb kebab with couscous as our main with the jalapeño dip and the meal was delicious. View menu

my daughter and I ate a lamb and a chicken dish, both of us enjoyed them thoroughly, but my husband ate an aubergine dish, that was a vegetarian option and really 't liked it. tamarind bark and peer for appetizers were delicious. this place is a certain yes for my daughter and I, but unfortunately we will return without my man who claims we can't pay him to eat here. we were a family divided after eating here!

Overall food was good, service was awful. Had reservations and got seated very quickly, only 4 tables(8 people) including us in the entire restaurant and we waited nearly 10 minutes for a glass of water and a cup of coffee, waitress did not seem organized and was paying more attention to her cell phone than she was to the guests. Did not check in often enough to refill our water/coffee. Food came in a reasonably timely manner and was delicious.

Went as part of Summerlicious because a family member found the menu appealing. Each of the options for appetizers (tomato salad, mushroom pastry, tamarind beef were things we might order. The pastry was closer to spanakopita than mushroom flavoured and the beef dish was a very large app but both were tasty. The mains (chicken, lamb kabob, whole roasted eggplant were mixed. The smoky eggplant was good, but did it need a salty sauce on top? And the lentils it was served on weren't anything special. The chicken was served on rice with some grilled leeks and carrots and a smear of baba ganoujh but the rice itself had no flavour.
