I've been on the lookout for a Peruvian restaurant that serves pollo saltado as delicious as my favorite place in LA, and I finally found it! I'm so glad I decided to give this place a shot.

I can't stop thinking about the chips and salsa – they were simply perfect! The carnitas tacos featured homemade tortillas, and you could really taste the difference. So far, these are the best birria tacos, street tacos, and chips and salsa I've had in Sacramento! View menu

It was quite expensive, but the portions were generous and the food was tasty. The drinks, particularly the glass bottles of Jarritos, were expensive at nearly $4 each. The dipping sauce was outstanding. However, the dining area is somewhat cramped and lacks sufficient ventilation.

I didn’t actually get to eat there because I was already full, but the place smelled amazing! I’m posting about it because ever since I was a little boy, I’ve dreamed of being a local guide. And here I am at 43 years old—who’s laughing now, Grandma?! Anyway, the sign drew me in; I was really intrigued by the concept of beer tacos.

Stopped in for a late lunch today and it just happened to be Happy Hour! Lots of good stuff on there and they also have daily specials. We tried 4 dishes today and they were all delicious! There was also a chips and salsa bar. The creamy green sauce was my favorite. We will stop in again the next time we're in the area! The location of the restaurant is a bit sketchy but the food was definitely worth it. View menu

I visited for the first time and was disappointed by the lack of customer service. I ordered the beef LOMO SALTADO, which wasn’t worth the $19, and I can’t recommend it. Save your money and just make marinated beef with soy sauce at home, toss some fries in the air fryer, cook up some rice, chop a pound of red onions, and add a couple of tomatoes. I suggest choosing something else from their menu, and I hope you have better luck with customer service. I’m giving it 2 stars because the fries were crispy and well-seasoned.

Caveat: I'm going to give this place another try before I pass final judgement That said, the place is nice and clean, with friendly staff. There's indoor seating but spaced so as to be not too crowded feeling. Ordering ahead for takeaway thru ChowNowwas easy and accurate. But if anything the food was under seasoned to a fault. The tallarain con camerones tasted just like thesoba noodles the dish was derived from, basically soy sauce. My wife felt her dish was fairly bland as well. Again, it wasn't*bad*, and everything else is fine, so it's worth another shot
