"Tranzas, very high prices for their terrible service and food. I WILL NOT COME TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. I have known this katsura for many years and it is noticeable how over time it has lost quality, both in the service and in the food, first they served me still mineral water, then I ordered some edamame that seems to have been sold to me one at a time, They gave me a small plate of edamame and when I asked the waiter he told me that because the owners were cutting the plates to save money, But how do they not cut the prices too? Because when asking for an Udon Soup that by the way lost a lot of quality, the waitress told me that a dish would cost about $38 dollars just to put meat, chicken and shrimp in it. I really liked the food at this place and it was always one of my family's favorite restaurants, but it seems that the owners lost interest, poorly trained waiters, no information about any dish and disabilities in customer service. With owners who think only of their benefit, I see why this is full of bad reviews, exaggerated prices for the service they provide. I won't come again."

Terrible experienced! Sushi was awful no taste at all like they use regular white rice! The miso soup was plain water with no seasoning. The ramen was so salty!

Waited over 1HR, 1HR! For a small to go order. Was not going to eat there since my 4yr old doesn’t stay still at restaurants turns out I had to wait over 1 HR with no food and a tired kid. Also noticed the chefs were eating while preparing the food. Also pricey.

By far the worst sushi I had. First… you get tap water. Then ordered the edamame beans appetizer. It was doused with salt. Why? Then order three sushi rolls. The dragon roll, spider roll, and cabello roll I think. Every rolls were tasteless and straight from the fridge. You can tell the rices were old and started to have the foul smell. And the salmons were so thin like it’s for decorations. You can get better sushi from gas stations than this. Then the atmosphere… definitely not family friendly. They were blasting profanity music the whole time. Absolutely do not go.

Food is everything. The server was super nice and on point and the atmosphere was wonderful. The food though? Awful. The sashimi was thick and hard, the sushi rolls were dinky little pieces of fish and the rice was just bad. I gave this place a shot because I was nearby and most sushi places are closed between lunch and dinner. Until they start making quality food, it's just not worth the bad experience. I'm sorry guys, I'm only leaving a bad review because I hope this gets the leaderships attention. Everything is awesome, even the prices, but the most important thing, the food, is not good at your establishment. View menu

Katsura Team, what can I say. I LOVE this place! Hoping and praying this doesn't turn into a LOVED this place. The Menu needs to be revised and practiced with Head Sushi Chef. I've been coming here for many years and eat multiple times a Month. Unfortunately, with today's service this will definitely keep me away for quite some time. New staff, is understandable which is part of every restaurant hiring new staff. Get the Menu right at least, ordered a Norwegian and Caballero Roll (something I ALWAYS order). Staff stated this was correct as it stated on the specifications of ingredients in the menu. This means they lack Proper Training!!!! Management, please from the bottom of my heart from a...

We usually stop by when we visit El Paso every 6 or 7 months. It has been around a year since we been back. This place has really gone down hill into a poop pool, Talk about **** poor food. The miso soup had no flavor just a bowl of hot water. The ramen is literally the ramen 88 cent package noodles in salty broth. And the teriyaki chicken was at par with something from a frozen bag. We ordered the new York sushi roll which was not made with sushi rice and the eel was not deboned and the sushi roll had no eel sauce. I did let the server know that the food was really bad as well as the authenticity was no where near what it used to be and did tell her that I would pay for the meal but will no...

"We began with Baked Escargot in Herbed Citrus Parmesan Butter—an exquisite dish in which the desire to savor every drop of the butter was undeniable. The Grilled Octopus with Cilantro Chimichurri was expertly spiced, leaving a lasting impression of refined flavors. The Central Caesar Salad, uniquely presented for communal sharing, was notable for its rich Anchovy Emulsion. The Cream of Green Chile Soup was a revelation; its creamy texture and depth of flavor were so captivating that they prompted a moment of culinary reflection. However, the Seared Diver Scallops, though well-executed, did not resonate as strongly with me; I had a less than favorable reception of the broccoli puree. In contrast, the Lobster Agnolotti was satisfactorily balanced and flavorful with its delicate pasta and butter-poached lobster claw submerged in a creamy lobster broth. The Honey Lavender Long Island Duck was another course that showcased the fusing of sweet and savory nuances. The undeniable highlight of the meal was the Ribeye Prime, a masterful display of flavor infusion, complemented by Chipotle Lime Butter and enhanced by the textural contrast of crispy onion strings. We concluded on a celebratory note with a Dessert Platter for my husband’s birthday. This thoughtful gesture included an array of desserts from Petite Crème Brulée to a Mexican Chocolate Tart, each a testament to the restaurant’s dedication to a memorable dining experience. However, it is imperative to note that the ambiance was somewhat marred by the overly loud piano and live singing. While the music itself was beautifully rendered, its volume was disproportionate to the dining setting, complicating conversational flow and detracting from the overall enjoyment."
