"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

Came to redeem my free ramen! But since there was a cubs game going on as well, they had a great wings deal.

Very nice place but sit very close to each other. Conversation difficult to hear at times. The service was great!

This is definitely the best ramen place in Chicago! I'm Japanese, so you can 100% trust me! Normally, ramen in Chicago is salty so I can't eat much but View menu

I love the fresh and clean atmosphere! Lots of wood and white! Greeted by the owner on every visit! The food is delicious. I had the pleasure of having 730 seats by 10am!

Excellent food. The mozzarella and tomato salad was the best I've ever had. Shrimp and scallops over polenta were a wonderful and unique mix of flavors. The menu had a wide variety and the service was wonderful

La Marea offers a great dining experience for adults and older children. The service is seamless and the food is a feast for the palate. It would not be suitable for young children as it promotes a more elegant and calm conversation atmosphere. View menu

La Marea was a big surprise. We visit the area occasionally and the restaurants are fine. La Marea comes from Westchester where we have many to choose from and it definitely falls into that category. The food was outstanding and the place was very welcoming and comfortable. Can't say enough well. All you have to do is try it yourself.

Great evening ... the food was amazing and the atmosphere was fun. We visit often, but the friends we brought to a special celebration had never been before. You love, love, loved it and will be back for sure. Thanks again to Juliana, Nino and the staff for a great evening full of enjoyment from the food to the service to the ambience! 5 Stars

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
