"My friend and I were interested in trying the pear-lime sangria before deciding to order a pitcher, but her response was a curt "No. We don’t do that here. No tastings allowed." Her rude and indifferent demeanor was quite unwelcoming, and it felt as if she didn’t want to be at work. I asked her to get the manager to inquire about the tasting option, and she eventually returned with a sample. Once we were ready to place our order, we had to call her over, as she showed little interest in attending to us. We both ordered the churrasco along with a side of sweet potato fries and a pitcher of the pear-lime sangria. The food was flavorful and served in generous portions, and we enjoyed the nice breeze from the open doors. While the restaurant itself has potential, we will not be returning due to the poor service we experienced. The waitress’s negative attitude created an unpleasant atmosphere for dining, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to friends or consider returning myself. It's unfortunate, especially since my friend works just two blocks away from the restaurant. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant because of the service."

It's more of a takeout spot than an actual restaurant. The quality is low and the prices are cheap.

The happy hour specials here are fantastic! All the appetizers we shared—tacos, guacamole, and quesadilla—were delicious, and the strawberry margarita was excellent as well!

Great quick lunch. It's not a big foodie place. But excellent light Mexican food. Both their regular and caliente guacamole are terrific starters. I'm partial to the Mahi Mahi Tacos, pulled pork sandwich and the salmon entree. One annoyance is that they charge for second cups of coffee and soft drinks.

Avoid this place! We visited on Cinco de Mayo and ended up feeling sick from our meal. To make matters worse, we were under the influence and left a $10 tip, but later noticed that the restaurant charged us an additional $20 each! It feels like they take advantage of drunk patrons. It was truly appalling, and I’d rather eat from the street than return here! View menu

I had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant. While the dining room isn't very large, the light Mexican cuisine is outstanding. Both their regular and spicy guacamole make for excellent starters. I tried the mahi mahi tacos, the pork sandwich, and the lasagna, all of which were delicious. The only downside is that they charge for refills on coffee and soft drinks, which can be quite annoying.

DO NOT EAT HERE! We came here on cinco de mayo and the food made us sick. Also we were under the influence and when we received our check we left only a $10 tip each and when we both got our bank statements the restaurant took out $20 each!!!!! This place is a bunch of thieves and take advantage of drunk people. So disgusting and I would rather eat off the streets than ever come back here! Horrible!!!!!!

Chicken wings, empanada, and guac were all very good. Good sized portions and enough to feed 3 even though all were happy hour specials. White Sangria was okay. Not sure why, but the door to the inside opens in a way where all people sitting on the bench waiting to be seated have to get up and move (or else the door won't open; should re-evaluated. Also, be sure to specify when making reservations if you want to sit at a table with chairs versus stools. Would return. View menu

I had a reservation for 11 people at 12:30 on December 18th, made well ahead of the date. I called the morning-of to confirm. I was told , yes! we are ready for you. When all 11 of us arrived it was clear instantly that there was no table for 11 people waiting for us. It turned out they had given my table to another party. They clearly do not know how reservations work; if they had asked for the name of the other party this error would not have occurred. I understand that mistakes can happen but this was Friday December 18th! No other lunch tables for a group our size were to be had anywhere else. Very disappointing! The manager did not attempt to make amends, either. An offer of a discount...

My friend and I wanted to sample the sangria before ordering a pitcher, but her response was simply, "No, we don’t do that here. No tastings." Her rude attitude and unwillingness to help made it clear she wasn’t interested in her job. I requested to speak with the manager to ask about the tasting, but she just recited a rehearsed response. When we finally decided to order, we had to approach them ourselves since they showed no interest in taking our order. We both opted for the churrasco and shared a side of sweet potato fries, accompanied by a pitcher of pear sangria. The food was delicious and generously portioned. The doors were open, allowing a lovely breeze to flow through the restaur...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
