"Recently I stumbled over this restaurant and from them outside the terrace it looked inviting. Upon entering we realized that it was actually a nightclub that runs during the day as a restaurant. It was empty and we decided to sit in a stand. I noticed that the cabins were not clean and either had ground seats or stained with who knows what. I decided to give them a chance and try the Colombian cuisine. I ordered a bandera paisa, empanadas and a margarita. Margarita was terrible, the food was okay. The chicken kingdom was by far the best I had, and I tried a few other places, the cattle empire was bland. The Bandera paisa saw a small part for $22, but it tasted good. The sausage was a little salty, but decent, beans were simply okay, the steak was perfectly prepared and tasted super, the egg was perfect, the rice was good, it came with 1/4 of an avocado that was good. The Plantano maduros were 2 slices good. She was tasty, but parts were so hard that I worked to break a tooth. My friend ordered the baked chicken breast and it came with frits, salad and rice. You enjoyed it. They also demanded water and that came in a bottle for free, so no free water here. The remaining room also had no paper towels to dry your hands. Even the waitress never came back after she brought the food that was strange. Overall, the ambience and customer service must be improved, but the food is ok."

Something I love in this place that everyone just goes to dancing, drinking or eating. No DramaFood: 5/5

Someone knows why it's closed? I went yesterday at 8:00 and was closed, no note to explain why it will be open again. View menu

The food was excellent, but the music left much to be desired. It felt outdated and repetitive. They really need to change it up!

The security staff at this establishment is quite aggressive; I witnessed two of them assault a man right at the entrance. I strongly advise steering clear of this place, as they are very troublesome.

Might literally be the worst food I've ever had. The fajitas had some brown sauce and cheap vegetables. The plantains were fried so badly they had zero flavor. My stomach hurts and my body is aching. Too much inflammation. View menu

I’ve visited this restaurant three times late at night, and each time I've enjoyed the great atmosphere, awesome DJ music, and excellent service. However, when I went last Saturday for dinner at my Colombian friend's suggestion, the food was disappointing. It lacked flavor and was a bit dry, so it didn't deliver the authentic Colombian taste we were hoping for.

Got there 4 or 5 hours before they closed, and without a reservation they wouldn't serve us food or let us see their food menu for future reference. As a stupido gr!ng0 I would not have known better but I came with my colombian lady looking for colombian food. Then we saw 3 or 4 families larger groups come and sit down and order food right in front of us. And we asked about making a reservation and when their kitchen closed and they just said no, from more than 1 employee. So after we finished some poorly made drinks ?‍ we went down the street to savor colombian steak house and were satisfied and got out real colombian food fill. Sorry la gozadera! Good luck as a bar, maybe the restaurant as...

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
