"Maura and I used to go here with Papa and Nana all the time. Our recent brunch visit (Sunday May 26 2024) lined up the stars for us. Our friend, Rob, joined us. We sat outdoors, where a two piece band played Dead, Dylan, etc. Sal, our garçon, was one of three highlights: what a super young waiter. Maura and Rob had omelettes with fresh bread, fruit. I had French Toast. Our son the other day ordered the classic cheeseburger probably one of the best kept secrets in Marin County. Also terrific: profiteroles; moules frites; panisse. A bientôt, Rive Gauche. TC"

Tomales oysters to start, my girlfriend had the quiche and I went with salmon has and eggs. We also had some sourdough bread with an amazing butter with sea salt. Just an excellent brunch.

Not very impressed with my meal, I had to return it, overcooked, potatoes were bland The replacement was improved but, nothing to rave about. Service was good and the expensive bread very good.

As for parking, there was plenty of street parking available during our visit, and a reasonably sized lot across the street as well. We also had a two-year-old with us, and I was glad to see that they provided a high chair and had a kids' menu. Overall, it was a great experience!

Food was very pricey for what you're served flavorless, minuscule portions, and had a thrown together presentation. Salade Verte was only 4 pieces of lettuce with dressing it was basically a side salad for $18! You'll leave starving. Salade Nicoise was completely flavorless as if the whole salad were sitting in water for days and barely drained! This restaurant's food used to be good. It's now well below average. Service was poor. Noise level high. Food tasteless. Prices high. Experience memorable because it was bad overall.
