"I've never been disappointed with eating legally. a good test for me is the RI-Kalamari. perfect snap. never chew. I usually come back to legal for the calamari and the crab cake. I tried the garnel pad thai this time, although not authentic thai, was quite tasty and garnel. is always perfect with a nice snap on legal, no matter what I order. my favorite part of today's meal was the boston cream cake (they called it cake and it's huge to share enough for the two of us. it was the most satisfying and tasty desert I had in very long time. dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with heath bar... I didn't even want to make a picture. my wife and I swallowed it so fast. server was fantastic (mikaela? . only withdraw was price. felt it was high for portion size."

Love the food. The cioppino was on the salty side and the wait was a bit much but other than that love the place! View menu

We had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner with family. The waitress was outstanding! They didn’t rush us and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Tasha was a great server. Wish all servers could be like her. Funny, friendly, knowledgeable, and an all around pleasure. Food was great, as always.

We love Legal and have been to many. This was okay. The server was great. The fish taco okay, not super fresh tasting. The broiled haddock was pretty good and the gumbo was fine. Nothing was wrong with the meal, but aside from the service and the cocktail, nothing was terrific. View menu

This Legal location is consistently great. We love the plain grilled fish that comes with two sides, which are very generous portions. The trout is excellent. I also like the wine list, where you don’t have to break the bank for a good glass or bottle. We like the half bottle of Sonoma Couture, which is a standby on the menu. Service is excellent too. We really appreciated our server’s attention to details. Better than many fine dining restaurants we’ve eaten at.

As always, the food here is really, really excellent. Service was prompt and attentive if not exactly friendly. If you want to be able to have conversation without shouting, though, find a quieter place. The noise level here is way loud, just bouncing off the hard floors, walls, windows. Also, like many if not most decent restaurants around town, the prices have shot up astronomically. For some, this makes for a narrow selection on the menu at an affordable price.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
