"We were disappointed that the menu was much smaller and less interesting than what was listed online. The food was underwhelming and seems to cut a lot of corners and use cheap ingredients. Most disappointing and shocking of all was when kitchen informed us that they used the fry oil for peanuts, thus making everything on the menu that was fried (not a short list) contaminated and unsafe for our diner with a nut allergy. While we very much appreciate the kitchen server being conscious of allergies, this seems like a careless move in a restaurant kitchen knowing how severe nut allergies usually are. The service was a bit slow considering how many tables were there at the time. The mimosa I ordered came with a syringe of orange juice which I think was supposed to be cute but was just annoying, I don’t want to make my own drink when I order it from a bar…plus extra plastic waste for no reason."

Loved this place. Perfect spot for a date night and they have lots of fun events throughout the week. The food was great, I got the Thai Noodle bowl and it was delicious.

The food was excellent and the service is top-notch. The manager made a point to come over to our group to welcome us and ask how everything was. I will definitely be back. View menu

Distinctive neighborhood gem with better-than-typical gastropub fare. We loved the goat cheese balls, duck confit bao buns, cheeseburger sliders, and burnt ends, and appreciated the excellent service. Very reasonable prices too.

Nice friendly meal with attentive service. We enjoyed our meals, particularly the fried pickle appetizer and the grilled chicken sandwich and the happy meal burger. We didn’t realize that Monday was trivia night, but that added nicely to our enjoyable experience.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
