"local roots is a wonderful restaurant with an extensive and constantly changing menu that had to meet by some of the most friendly and authentic people I had the pleasure. eating is cheap and always comes hot and tasty, ready, enjoyed and sweetened. that said where local roots really shine in my mind is in the events that are hosted as the weekly open mic nights. these events are a joy to visit, and security/health is a priority for employees and participants alike. I am very grateful for the local roots and the staff/patrons that continue. love."

I've had a good experience at this restaurant in the past. However, I couldn't share my recent visit because I made a reservation through OpenTable that was confirmed, but sadly the restaurant was closed when we arrived. It seems they recently changed their hours.

we came with a party of 8, including 4 children, a few minutes too late for our 8:30 reservation. they were very gracious and even offered the children's breakfast items that were not served for dinner. they offered us to stay and eat at their closing time and were extremely hospitable. so nice! excellent service. great food. Thank you!
